American Airlines ConciergeKeySM / "CK" Program (by invitation only)
(Includes Executive Platinum status and Admirals Club membership)

NOTE: For questions such as "How can I get Concierge Key?" or "This is my spend: will I get CK?" Please refer to the How do I make / making AA Concierge Key / ConciergeKey / CK?thread

Also see AA Concierge Key invitations / renewal for 2019 status (out early 12/2018).

13 Apr 2020: AAdvantage extends CK status is extended automatically until Jan 31, 2022.

"The ConciergeKey Program is an exclusive program that American Airlines has for our very top customers. This is by invitation only and a very exclusive club." (Billy Sanez for AA)

ConciergeKey Services are provided to a select group of VIPs to facilitate travel on AA. The program is offered on an invitation basis only and is targeted at customers who control travel policy for large organizations. Customers who generate a high amount of revenue for AA may also be invited into this program (possibly those who spend upwards of US$60k a year on travel with AA).

Services provided include airport escorts and pre-boarding (seems variable, more likely during OSO?); assistance with flight changes, seat changes, and upgrade requests via their own dedicated telephone line. In addition, there is the ability to communicate directly with ConciergeKey associates via a dedicated email address. ConciergeKeySM representatives will also monitor day of travel of ConciergeKey members and will proactively reroute or rebook travel when necessary. ConciergeKey status allows check-in at First Class counters, as well as access to elite lines through security at certain airports. Miles and copay upgrades with copay waived.

ConciergeKey is now a distinct elite tier, above Executive Platinum. ConciergeKey benefits include membership to the Admirals Club, international miles upgrades with copayment waived, as well as two additional System-Wide Upgrades (SWU's) as part of CK membership.

CK members have access to Flagship Check-in on any flight, and CK will have Flagship Lounge access when flying a OneWorld airline.

As of 1 Jan 2017, Concierge Key members have upgrade requests prioritized over all other tiers: CK members have an upgrade window of (up to) 120 hours (Executive Platinum member's will retain the 100 hour upgrade window). CK members will board ahead of other passengers.

Regarding Concierge Key tier benefits coming in 2017, please see: New Concierge Key Benefits for 2017: New CK Elite Status Tier

Please: do respect members' privacy by refraining from asking for overly personal information and details relating to ConciergeKey membership or nomination. If your question receives no response, consider the member chooses not to reply, as is his/her right.

Boarding Area's AAdvantageGeek's blog shows the card and documents here.

I hope they extend the passes. Unclear of the logic of the April expiration.

My wife and I scheduled a long weekend in the Keys in early April, in part to use my FFD certificates on both our arrival and departure.

DFW FFD definitely served breakfast pre-COVID, so they must have opened sometime before noon. I seem to remember them opening around 7am or 8am, but I could be wrong.

I definitely had breakfast at the DFW FFD a few times, probably arriving around 8 AM.

I think you guys are right above about DFW FFD having been open in the mornings. I found a blogger's review online that shows breakfast there.

However, the most recent time I dined there pre-COVID, we had to wait in the FL for maybe 30 mins. or something in the early afternoon, because FFD wasn't open/staffed yet. It was, I believe, the final week before it shut down for COVID in March 2020 -- maybe they already had shortened hours? I don't remember the reason. Anyway, that's what I was remembering... I looked back through old photos/emails since my post above. I have several pics from the DFW FL in the early afternoon there, because we had to wait it out for FFD to open.

Absolutely try the ravioli at MIA FFD. I think we ordered 3, possibly 4, between the two of us this past week. The portion is small (two large ravioli pieces), but the sauce is quite rich and flavorful.

EP has the potential to be cheapened (but not necessarily by the average traveler -- moreso just the FT-type enthusiast can manipulate their way to low spend EP without flying as much)... CK, likely not so much. The new system won't make it easy to track EQDs, but dollars and profitability are sure to remain big factors. I still don't know whether credit card spend might be some sort of selection tiebreaker, or if loyalty points will be considered, but certainly some new types of CKs could come out of this, depending on how things go.

Wow, that's pretty cool being a CMI-based CK! I bet you're the only one!

I suppose the fares out of there could be quite high/profitable, particularly if you ever pay for J. Other central IL airports are the same... ridiculously high pricing in some cases compared to the larger airports nearby.

Does anyone know if new CK invites from 2021 have been sent out yet? I was over $60km spend and 300k EQM with several J class round trips to Europe. I would think this would qualify given that I have many coworkers with less spend and miles from previous years that earned a renewal. Any news on the nearly earned CK front?

Hi all - Anyone know if we’re allowed a guest when going through Flagship First check-in? I’m traveling with a colleague tomorrow (domestic flight - separate reservation), and I couldn’t find any info about guests on AA’s flagship first check-in webpage.

Thanks very much!

Yes, one for sure - and probably for all on the PNR. When I was EXP (n INTL) and using Flagship check-in at ORD, my partner certainly came through with me.

I bring people all the time with me, both family on the same PNR and colleagues on different PNRs. No one has ever batted an eye.

Either I can't read or nobody has posted yet... but today I received the latest membership kit with the recognition certificates, membership card, and the metal luggage tag (this time from a retired 757).
