American Airlines ConciergeKeySM / "CK" Program (by invitation only)
(Includes Executive Platinum status and Admirals Club membership)

NOTE: For questions such as "How can I get Concierge Key?" or "This is my spend: will I get CK?" Please refer to the How do I make / making AA Concierge Key / ConciergeKey / CK?thread

Also see AA Concierge Key invitations / renewal for 2019 status (out early 12/2018).

13 Apr 2020:
AAdvantage extends CK status is extended automatically until Jan 31, 2022.

"The ConciergeKey Program is an exclusive program that American Airlines has for our very top customers. This is by invitation only and a very exclusive club." (Billy Sanez for AA)

ConciergeKey Services are provided to a select group of VIPs to facilitate travel on AA. The program is offered on an invitation basis only and is targeted at customers who control travel policy for large organizations. Customers who generate a high amount of revenue for AA may also be invited into this program (possibly those who spend upwards of US$60k a year on travel with AA).

Services provided include airport escorts and pre-boarding (seems variable, more likely during OSO?); assistance with flight changes, seat changes, and upgrade requests via their own dedicated telephone line. In addition, there is the ability to communicate directly with ConciergeKey associates via a dedicated email address. ConciergeKeySM representatives will also monitor day of travel of ConciergeKey members and will proactively reroute or rebook travel when necessary. ConciergeKey status allows check-in at First Class counters, as well as access to elite lines through security at certain airports. Miles and copay upgrades with copay waived.

ConciergeKey is now a distinct elite tier, above Executive Platinum. ConciergeKey benefits include membership to the Admirals Club, international miles upgrades with copayment waived, as well as two additional System-Wide Upgrades (SWU's) as part of CK membership.

CK members have access to Flagship Check-in on any flight, and CK will have Flagship Lounge access when flying a OneWorld airline.

As of 1 Jan 2017, Concierge Key members have upgrade requests prioritized over all other tiers: CK members have an upgrade window of (up to) 120 hours (Executive Platinum member's will retain the 100 hour upgrade window). CK members will board ahead of other passengers.

Regarding Concierge Key tier benefits coming in 2017, please see: New Concierge Key Benefits for 2017: New CK Elite Status Tier

Please: do respect members' privacy by refraining from asking for overly personal information and details relating to ConciergeKey membership or nomination. If your question receives no response, consider the member chooses not to reply, as is his/her right.

Boarding Area's AAdvantageGeek's blog shows the card and documents here.

I think depends on how you got CK... Sales vs other. I get mine via Sales and therefore do not get the extra SWUs or this EXP gifting.

Hypothesis: if you got the EXP gifting then you also got the bonus SWUs
If you did not get the extra SWUs then you did not get the EXP gifting.

Did you guys only notice it because you happened to be looking at your wallet?

I received an email about it yesterday, with the subject line "You've been selected for an exclusive opportunity."

Just wanted to give a quick shout out to Sarika and the london CK team. My whole family and I were on a way way late (well below min connection time) flight from CDG to LHR and only had 50 minutes when we landed before out LHR-DFW flight took off. Sarika met us, called the gate to ensure they knew we landed and would keep the gate open for us, had a tarmac car for us to T3, personally hustled us around two winding security lines (accompanied by howls of protest from other people in line, nonetheless), had a cart for us right after security, called the gate again while on the way, even even facilitated a speedy screening due to an unfortunate random SSSS on my wife’s boarding pass. She provided 100 percent service and coordination among all the AA station crew was amazing.

i don’t know if anyone else on the Cdg to lhr flight made the Dallas flight, but I doubt it.

I rarely need CK services and when I get them it’s usually with a bit of bemusement, but situations like this are priceless, due to the family being with me.

As someone who earned CK from spend rather than corporate influence, I didn't get one. Just adding that as a data point although I know there are two tiers of CKs with some being really, really big spenders.

Great story. Usually the CK airport benefits range from 'kinda unnecessary' to 'cool'. It's times like you described where CK provides legit value. I believe the primary purpose of CK is 'to get you home when things go wrong', and your example reinforces that.

Nor did I. I am CK via an Airpass purchase. Maybe that's why?

FWIW, the years where I earned the EP gift, I had spent $85K-$110K. The years I didn't, I was $65K-$75K in spend.

I have never spent more than 45-50k with AA in one year and never received the gift EXP until this year (where I only had one flight since the pandemic began until recently ).

Thanks for sharing - you’re absolutely right! Admittedly, while being jealous of some of the perks other home airports offer over my base at CLT, I had to remind myself a month or so ago about the real value… getting home much faster than you would otherwise would…

Glad you all made the flight!

Also, I know the chance of this is slim, but I’m heading through LHR in a bit, and if I see Sarika, I’ll be sure to tell her that I and others have heard the story and were deeply impressed… As I assume you’ve passed this along to AA, I hope she gets recognition of some kind from AA, too!

For another data point - I received neither the EXP gift nor extra SWUs. I earned CK in 2019 from ~80k spend, but since the pandemic have only flown domestically for work.

yes, i insisted that she give me the name of her supervisor and also the head of premium services at LHR. I sent a very complementary email to both of them. I do hope AA knows what a gem they have in her.

FFL dining passes... I believe all current ones expire April 30.

Anyone have a path to request an extension of these? Can't exactly figure out how the April 30 date was selected to begin with.
