American Airlines ConciergeKeySM / "CK" Program (by invitation only)
(Includes Executive Platinum status and Admirals Club membership)

NOTE: For questions such as "How can I get Concierge Key?" or "This is my spend: will I get CK?" Please refer to the How do I make / making AA Concierge Key / ConciergeKey / CK?thread

Also see AA Concierge Key invitations / renewal for 2019 status (out early 12/2018).

13 Apr 2020: AAdvantage extends CK status is extended automatically until Jan 31, 2022.

"The ConciergeKey Program is an exclusive program that American Airlines has for our very top customers. This is by invitation only and a very exclusive club." (Billy Sanez for AA)

ConciergeKey Services are provided to a select group of VIPs to facilitate travel on AA. The program is offered on an invitation basis only and is targeted at customers who control travel policy for large organizations. Customers who generate a high amount of revenue for AA may also be invited into this program (possibly those who spend upwards of US$60k a year on travel with AA).

Services provided include airport escorts and pre-boarding (seems variable, more likely during OSO?); assistance with flight changes, seat changes, and upgrade requests via their own dedicated telephone line. In addition, there is the ability to communicate directly with ConciergeKey associates via a dedicated email address. ConciergeKeySM representatives will also monitor day of travel of ConciergeKey members and will proactively reroute or rebook travel when necessary. ConciergeKey status allows check-in at First Class counters, as well as access to elite lines through security at certain airports. Miles and copay upgrades with copay waived.

ConciergeKey is now a distinct elite tier, above Executive Platinum. ConciergeKey benefits include membership to the Admirals Club, international miles upgrades with copayment waived, as well as two additional System-Wide Upgrades (SWU's) as part of CK membership.

CK members have access to Flagship Check-in on any flight, and CK will have Flagship Lounge access when flying a OneWorld airline.

As of 1 Jan 2017, Concierge Key members have upgrade requests prioritized over all other tiers: CK members have an upgrade window of (up to) 120 hours (Executive Platinum member's will retain the 100 hour upgrade window). CK members will board ahead of other passengers.

Regarding Concierge Key tier benefits coming in 2017, please see: New Concierge Key Benefits for 2017: New CK Elite Status Tier

Please: do respect members' privacy by refraining from asking for overly personal information and details relating to ConciergeKey membership or nomination. If your question receives no response, consider the member chooses not to reply, as is his/her right.

Boarding Area's AAdvantageGeek's blog shows the card and documents here.

I use the Hyatt at Bah Mahr - you get nice upgrades and free drinks - its a nice perk for sure. I have Hilton Lifetime Diamond and get better service as a Globalist thru CK which is sad.

He said he's not getting upgrades much either (less than 1/3rd of the time). I'm wondering if I'm flying on flights where most everyone is buying FC because it's not much more expensive. I'm definitely booking flights that have plenty of FC when I book (about 10-14 days out).
I have had no issues getting upgrades - I get them 90% of the time, but also will just buy FC when its cheap - always. Been on a good roll lately sans some of my Vail flights which only has 8 FC seats, but even then I am getting it 75% of the time - must be the route. Are CKs above you getting them? I am surprised as I don't fly like I did in 2019 but always at the top of the list above other CKs. Still a mystery, but I am ok with it...

Concorde Room LHR - Domestic UK Access?

Anyone know if were granted access to Concorde Room in LHR if flying domestically (J) in the UK (no connecting international leg)?

Taking a trip to Scotland with the Mrs in September - flying into LHR (F) but are spending a few days in London before flying BA (J) to Inverness (booked as its own itinerary). Looks like those BA LHR -> INV flights go out of T5, but not sure if Concorde Room is an option if just domestic UK flight.

Thanks all!

Yes, you should have access as a CK member. I had access last month flying LHR-DUB in BA Y.

Oh that's great! I thought they did away with the Concorde Room access with the move back to T3. Im flying JFK-LHR-AMS and that would be great to access the Concorde Room after an AA long-haul flight before my short-haul to AMS.

Just flew in from LHR, and while I had a transfer from T5 to T3, there was no transfer. I did get a golf cart ride from the Cathay lounge to the gate. Apparently, the Flagship Lounge is open again, but only for business pax. They still send Emeralds to the Cathay lounge until Flagship gets up and running to its full service standard. I have a feeling now that all Emeralds know about Cathay, they will still go there for the better views and better food!

Interested in peoples' experiences with mixed/linked itineraries. I have an SJU-CLT and CLT-LHR J-booked trips coming up with a 50 min connection between (carry-on bags only). Hoping the oneworld benefit of same alliance itineraries being protected comes into play here...anyone else have experience with back-to-back, independently booked (sometimes, that's just the way it works, so no, please don't say book together as it's not always possible) trips and issues with IROPS?

I've had decent connection experiences with separately booked itineraries at LHR - usually AA then BA. I'm doing this in November with Finnair connecting at LHR on way to Helsinki. I was told I "should" have ground assistance.

Random question: If I book an award for someone with no status, do they get my CK status for complementary (North America) upgrade purposes?

Wow - not me. I'm like 1 for 5 on any upgrade (not counting an "upgrade" to a high floor LOL.) I've received may 2 super nice upgrades all year.

Not if theyre traveling without you.

However, if youre traveling on the same flight, even if youre on different records, you can call reservations to have them link the other persons record with yours, and they can inherit your status for upgrade purposes that way.

I've had the CK desk assign MCE seats as a courtesy several times
