Working now.

Even though

Kindly be advised that you may experience AQM/AQS/AQD crediting delays as we complete the migration to our new reservation system. We appreciate your patience, and invite you to please log back in again later to view your most recent transactions.
Miles for our last week Thursday flights already posted. No AQD yet; not that I care, already over the requirements.

I guess I picked the wrong day to try and redeem Aeroplan miles. I got a "Your requested itinerary cannot be booked at this time, please try again. If the problem persists, please call the aeroplan.com website support centre at 1-866-689-8080" when trying to use the Travel Reward Search tool.

Then, when calling that number, there's a high volume of calls, and they can't even put me on hold. They suggest using self-service web options, so I DM'd them on Twitter. We'll see what happens.

A couple of extra data points: Over the past week, it’s now been possible to add on-lap infants in a reservation at the point of booking online. Previously you were advised that you need to book the adult fare and then call to add the infant.

Problem is, the system puts the infant through in what is an adult fare in itself (even thought it registers it as an infant), so I’ve found it impossible to get an accurate quote. I called up and did the booking over the phone.

Another issue, probably a bit more severe, is that I’ve noticed that for some routes, the price of premium economy has jumped (in some cases doubled) literally overnight. What’s even more mysterious is that the business class option was then removed even for routes that do have it. I called up and was quoted the same inflated prices I saw online, but after pressing the agent to look into it more closely, he found the correct fares. He said that there’s something definitely going wrong with the system, which may or may not have something to do with the Black Friday 20% off promo code too.

Anyway, I hate phone bookings, but in this case, it had to be done…

There's a 20% off Back Friday promo code?

I just see 'Sale' prices posted on AC.com.

I found that I am able to select seats on the website for my ANA-issued award ticket on AC-operated flights now.
I am reduced to tears!

Of course it's the AC BF sale. Jack up the price by 80%, then offer 20% off.

I have an aeroplan ticket.

It says economy standard as the ticket but its suppose to be business class ticket and it has business class seats assigned. Is this normal?

Has anyone been able to see J seat maps on international flights since the system upgrade?
Can't seem to get them to load anymore - the plane just keeps flying in circles.

Also, only economy and premium economy. With most or all PY fares not really cheaper tan the lowest P fares on the same route. As last for the couple of routes I checked.

Right. And in the past, with these Black Friday promos, there were actual promo codes too... and they were sensical like "BLACKFRIDAY18" or whatever...

This code looks like a targeted promo code for customers across the right pond. Oh well.
