Haha, now they completely wiped out award availability for DUS-ATH (direct flights) from February 11th all the way to mid-September!

NYC is back!!!!! God I've been waiting for this for so long (checking seaprately for EWR, LGA, and JFK sucks).
They seem to be doing sth to the backend for sure. Still no itineraries with transfers showing, which obviously is the more relevant thing.

Only nonstop award flights bookable
Hello,
since weeks i struggle to book any award flight which isn't a direct one. I did write Aegean customer service but they are very slow in answering.
I am looking for flights with a connection as there aren't always direct flights available. As an example: There is economy availability on SAN-EWR and EWR-FRA on 27.1 but it generates an error message saying there is no availability if i select SAN-FRA on 27.1 (as there is no direct flight available).
Does anyone experience the same problem or has a solution to it?

Yeah, it would be even nicer if they finally made the whole list of flight connections, that the call center can see/access/book, available for online redemptions. But I already wrote then about that in an email around 3 weeks ago and they replied, that they were basically aiming to simply restore the search engine to its previous state. This was also the last I heard from them, despite another email about 10 days ago. It's now been 6 whole weeks with no fix. I am pretty sure that any airline, any kind of business would have been able to set up an entirely new website from scratch within 6 weeks if they wanted to, but Aegean's IT can't perform a (OK, to oversimplify it) system reset/restore command .
.I have a "huge" amount of miles that are now USELESS!!
I NOW WILL NOT FLY a3 AND WILL FLY WITH OTHERS WHEN I AM NOT HELD "CAPTIVE"
At one time I was PROUD to say a3 was a GREEK airline

I really don't get the "my miles are useless" argument. Call them up and have them searching for 5 hours for your tickets. You can still book whatever is "normally" available! I already warned them in one of my emails, that this could happen, as the online search is probably used 90% of the time for "browsing" awards and 10% or less for actually booking them (well, my quota would probably be 99%-1%,but the 90-10 is my gut feeling after a couple of years of browsing frequent traveller's forums). In all honesty, if I had enough free time to kill, I'd probably do spend an afternoon on the phone with them and if enough members did too, I'd be curious to see if instead of 2 months it would take them 2 days to fix this.
But I do agree, that having an online award search and booking engine this broken for that long can't be a good sign...
