So how long are PlusPoints taking to post? I earned another "GPU" two days ago and still no points in my account.

I had an RPU applied to yesterday's flight, and I got the upgrade. But they also took 20 PlusPoints... Will I get 20 PP back automatically?

If upgrade cleared after 12/4, it's possible that RPU got converted to PP, and not deducted before clearing. So they deducted 20 PP after that.

I’m confused. All RPUs, including those that had already cleared, were converted to PlusPoints. So, they should have taken 20 +Ps. Are you sure your account balance is in error?

The RPU was applied before Dec 4 and the upgrade cleared after Dec 4. So I guess it got lost in some black hole.

So, the RPU should have converted to 20 PlusPoints on Dec 4., and then they should have been deducted when the upgrade cleared. Unlike RPUs, uncleared PlusPoints remain in your account. So, unless the initial conversion was incorrect — in which case, you would have been shorted PlusPoints on Dec. 4 — what you described sounds correct.

Yeah OP will need to calculate PP balance to determine if he was shorted.

I initially thought we were talking about an RPU that had already cleared as of December 4. In that case, 20 points would be owed.

I don't Have status with UA, I wanted to trade at FT CC to get this upgrade ;)

The problem is RPUs were deducted when waitlisted, but PlusPoints are only deducted when cleared. (edit add: I was unclear if you were pointing that out, so just adding that in case it was overlooked.)
