Under the "Aircraft" tab, all currently existing routes serviced by the new 773 (SFO-HKG, EWR-TLV and SFO-NRT are listed) are listed as well as (yet to be converted) 763 and 772 types. For the 763 the listed starting date is "Fall 2017." For the 772 the webpage states "Winter 2017," which sounds optimistic to me as it sounds more like 4th quarter of 2017 than the previously announced first quarter of 2018. Zodiac's output of Polaris seats for all three aircraft types must be ultra smooth by now, if United wants to stick with its predictions. Can't wait to see the first converted 763 in mid July...

Dear XXXXX:
No announcement has been made to let us know when additional United
Polaris lounges will be opening. We are still renovating some of the
locations. Our United Premium Cabin Lounges page on our website will be
updated once the dates are announced. I've included the link for you
below.

This does not preclude any rumors from being true.

For those interested, the remaining (IAD, NRT, HKG, LHR) are listed as Future Locations with no dates associated with them.

Wasn’t IAD listed as late 2019 previously? Now just indefintely just like the 40 year-old “temporary” C & D Concourses!

It has been a "future Location" for the past year.

I think there was reported some unofficial discussion with the IAD station manager (or someone) of plans for the PL in 2019, but it was never shown on the tracker with a date.

On 12/3 LAX UC staff said 12/20. I need it on 12/24 so that guarantees at least a 12/26 opening.

Transited via LAX this weekend. This morning, it still says 'Coming soon' out front. I didn't have time to stop in the UC and ask about anything more definitive. As long as it's open in late April when I have NRT-LAX-EWR booked, I am fine

Last time I asked a week ago, the UC agent said the last week of December though possibly mid-week due to Christmas on Tuesday. They seem to enjoy only giving a short (week) public official notice before opening so hopefully we'll know the exact date by mid-December.

LAX delayed

Unfortunately, due to an issue with a kitchen gas line, the LAX Polaris Lounge won't open until the second week of January.

Those cats need a few lessons in under-promise and over-deliver. That being said, over-deliver was out of the equation for quite a long time for the Polaris Lounges. At least it is at the place with a not offensive UC. Not to commit heresy, but I am not sure why they prioritize LAX over IAD.

Not sure they did. As outlined in the posts above, IAD is much more complicated, requiring construction of new space and $33.8M in funding from the airport. LAX involved conversion of existing UA lounge space.

Do you mean the opening, or the non-opening?

I'd say that the non-opening in December is pretty certain . The opening in January remains uncertain, until it is announced.

You must have been too naughty in 2018 based on the expected outcome.
