Just successful booked on the website, so either I got lucky, or they are starting to fix the problem.

Is that segment more than 24 hours away? if yes, then this is "normal", it shows -- under your reservation, but if you try to check in again, you'll see the seat is saved. Once it's less than 24 hours before departure, the seat will also show up under the reservation page.

Since UA's IT systems began melting down.... Seriously - it should show up properly soon - but I would still watch it...

Since the website doesn't work well. Has been reported other times as well - you should be fine to sit in F it's just a display bug. Note that "Coach" is not even a class of service on UA.

I had trouble trying to book flights this morning, but I managed to book two separate tickets without any issues an hour ago. Looks like they've fixed it?

Must be from the Amtrak class -- the only coach I know that would be in the UA system.

A lot since this is the third time they have tried to build the website. They had to start from scratch twice before since the merger.

I wonder if anyone backed up the old CO website :).

It was (still is). I had no idea. Learn something new about United's IT shortcomings every day! @:-)

No, just make a website that works as it is supposed to.

same here...but I don't think much is really fixed. seems like band aids holding it together.

I can't get one-ways to complete a search; they error out every time I try. Round-trip bookings seem to work for me. But the site is far from fixed... and still missing Expert Mode data.

CO.com worked perfectly and did everything I needed it to do.
It's been replaced with a website that's been buggy since day 1. And probably always will be buggy.

Lets not get into the CO vs UA thing again. but I thought the same about the old UA site. But those days are long gone so I stand by my statement, a web site that works as it is supposed to.
