It would also make the FAs job much easier. Just send the pony down the aisle an call it "self service."

Yeah, but it might get tiresome hearing the same old question over and over: "Hey buddy - why the long face?"

To stay on topic, I don't mind lemon in my adult beverage, but I just hope that this is not just a "temporary" shortage.

So turns out, the lack of limes is partially thanks to Mexican drug cartels

I'm not having you put my emotional support pony to work, he's sensitive.

Isn't beverage service in the UCs contracted out? I suspect the limes are part of the contracted service, and not supplied by UA.

Some sources are quoting $0.53/lime versus $0.21/lime a year ago.
Probably will start bringing some of my own.

Anybody know if limes are available in United Clubs?
If they are, you will probably need to ask for them - like the hot chocolate

It's interesting to note that DL didn't seem to be troubled by the shortage in limes. They just paid the premium and got on with it. United took the cheapskate route and cut them immediately

Limeless on IAH to MCO two days ago and sublime (only a couple of limes) on LHR to IAH. The DL Skyclub at T-4 LHR, which UA use, had no lime shortage.
