Then again, I do cry a bit, in the dark, when nobody's around.
We're as unhappy as you all are about the state of affairs here.
But I won't let it ruin my day, or affect my homelife.
Just sad to have put in so much time here and see it so bad.
We were all here yesterday and we'll be here tomorrow.
That can't be said about the folks running the place.
It shows.

I forget. Was this thread about cancels, or who flies out of COS?

I was recently flying in INTL F and as I was getting setting a sterling FA who I've had several times in the past came past and said "Can I get you anything?" My response was "Can you get me my airline back?" She just cracked "If I could I would." and proceeded to provide me some of the best service I've had in a long time. The good ones always rise above the fray.

I have long thought United pilots to be the finest in the air. The examples given here by ualp and freshairporne echo why I think so. I trust their judgment when it comes to mx issues, and would rather get to my destination than not at all. FWIW, I'm sure most of the pilots would rather fly, especially from an out-station, to their intended destination and not have to sit and hear the gripes from the pax regarding the situation, either. I always felt safe on UA, but the mgmt.'s recent practices have pushed me over to AA.

An airplane can go for days on domestic service (non-over-water) with an inop APU, for instance, and I'd fly it from IAD to DEN, for instance, if there were no weather issues, or other inop systems that would create a higher than normal likelihood of needing an APU, but DEN to SFO or other over the mountains route in crappy weather, and no way would I do it.
You can drive a car on three wheels if you have to.

Now you're talkin'!
LOVE Austin. Wish we had more exposure there.
SFO - Andele burritos, at the rotunda
Willow Creek - breakfast burritos
IAD - Sometimes a long walk, but Potbelly down by C1 is always good.
Then it's up to YOU folks.
'Cause they sure don't listen to us.
Why would the line dogs who have been doing this 20-30+ yrs know what they're talking about?

Now that SLC has redone their dining options, I have to push Cafe Rio, and the revamped Squatters.
PIT- That cheesesteak place.
Sadly, most airports seem to only have the big 3 of McD's, BK, or Wendy's (Which, of those 3, is the best option, but I'd like some variety away from burgers, please!)

Gag me.
Best thing about these places:
McD's - the toy
Wendy's - Frosties
and BK?
That King dude was just freaky/scary. Right up there with clowns.
Happy to see that marketing icon go away.

Just found out my trip tomorrow DEN-PDX was canceled. Of course having to take the first flight out in the morning and not many E+ seats left to choose from. Aaargh!
It took Dorothy at the Premier Desk about a nanosecond to re-book two of us. Seamless and good news!
Was getting picked up by Crew at PDX to coincide with later flight and on our way to Horning's Hideout for 4 day Music Festival. Could have used a full night of sleep tonight, cuz probably not a lot will be had the rest of the week. C'est la vie

Could there be marginal cases where pilots are a little more reluctant to fly a plane? Maybe... But let's give the pilots the benefit of the doubt and certainly not wholly blame them for the spree of cancellations.
