Got it. 25K by next May, or 37.5K by May 2014.

Then again, doing 20K closer to May 2014 on A3 will renew it even further out without a lapse in *G, and A3 allows one-way redemptions so those miles can be put to use earlier.

Check your account online.....a nice surprise may await you:D The first many status matchers know about the granting of the status match is by seeing the upgraded status online.

Got the following email 2 days ago after i'd sent in my FB Gold card copy, and a FB statement for 2012 by email - not sure if they're gearing up to say no or it'll just show up as *A Gold on the website one of these days... anyone else got something similar ?

Hrmm, I sent a request on the 19th, got an email back on the 25th asking for them to attach Card scan and statement (which I had already provided in the original email), and sent back on the same day.

Haven't heard anything yet, I keep checking my miles&smiles account but its still showing classic. I hope they respond soon.

It's an exercise in patience (which I also did not have), sent the details several times and had almost given up and then all of a sudden I got the upgrade on the website.

Had this one too..Think I got this email 4 days after I submitted my request .And after 2 more days I checked my account online and realised I got the gold upgrade.

They're probably receiving an enormous surge in the number of requests (and subsequently delayed responses/reviews) - owing to the publicity over at BoardingArea and MilePoint for this 'free' *G.

I wonder if the current strike will make status match easier or harder. And not sure if they will match AC*SE :)

I got matched to this last week and received an email from THY asking to validate my address (apparently it didn't accept it when I made my profile online). It's a U.S. address and I've emailed them twice, but haven't received a response.

In the meantime, I can't log in to my TK account, which just says:

Anyone else run into this?
