It would appear that they want us to fly 80,000 miles within a twelve month period to get the Elite Plus. Then again this is for residents of Turkey; the threshold is lower if you are a non resident. Should be a card upgrade calculator on your miles and smiles page.

I was status matched to elite 2 days ago....from bmi Gold. Can anyone who was status matched recently tell me how long it takes the plastic to arrive....I have a TATL on UA in 6 weeks and need the extra baggage allowance?

Thank you those that helped me. It took 3 tries but at last I got Elite-status and will now switch my loyalty from Skyteam to Star Alliance.

Relatively painless for me.
Sent them a BA and BD card scan plus a couple of screenshots of status showing a few recent flights, and I'm now in as Elite and therefore *G till May 2014. Now need to change the profile and replace the BD Gold reference. |
