Update the info online and call a GOES center to confirm they are good. Works the same with NEXUS.

Just a friendly reminder.... GOES is not a trusted traveler program. There is no such thing as a "GOES gate" or "GOES kiosk."
Instead, GOES is simply an online interface used for applying for various trusted traveler programs, including GlobalEntry, NEXUS, FAST, and SENTRI.
But I agree with your sentiment.....I have seen CBP advertising GlobalEntry more aggressively at the major airports in recent months. Let's hope that more frequent travelers sign up!

All other information can be updated online. Passport information cannot.

That makes zero sense. I will see for myself if they have that sorted next year, as my passport expires summer 2011

Sorry for the typo above
Hang in there.
While I'm here, I'm going through AMS this Sat the 27th, has anyone done their Global Entry interview there?
The approval letter says there is an enrollment center at Schiphol.
Thanks

I have. It's in the Privium club lounge, which can be accessed either from landside behind check in row 9, or from the non-Schengen airside.
The CBP officer, IIRC, is only there between 9 am and 2 pm. Interview was easy and short. The only downside is that they don't have a kiosk to demonstrate how it works. (But then, it's very simple so not really a need)

Thanks Geneva Flyer,
I've been through AMS before buy not all that familiar.
I'll be coming into AMS from Stockholm and continuing into MEM. I'm not sure what gate at AMS I arrive at but IIRC the flight to MEM leaves from concourse E. Will I have easy access to the Privium Lounge and do you know if CBP operates there on Saturday?
Sorry for all the questions, I just couldn't find this info elsewhere.
Thanks

The CBP guy at LAX who put my sticker in my passport and showed me how to use the machine told me the AMS office was closed. Did CBP have their own thing there before Privium?
