My parents got their cards yesterday and I've still gotten nothing. We all applied for, got, and updated our info together in the past. I'm thinking it's Canada Post's usual failure to deliver things on time.

Not sure what you mean by employment gap but I would put in self-employed in these sections (if true) and use your name and address as the contact info for employer.

or if you were retired or on medical leave do the same thing and put in your name (retired/medical leave) and your address in the contact info.

Remember to tell the truth.

Link now works, and I activated my card. No need to sign in. Just enter the information from the back of the card.

Forgot to post - got my new nexus card on Dec 24th - day after my 2009 AP Elite package ;-)

Took me 3 hours to connect onto GOES....

I got my NEXUS approved because I did grad school in the US and lived in Canada.

Upon my renewal and when I apply for my family members, will they approve the NEXUS application for
purposes of crossing the border due to occasional business and vacation as reasons?

I received my new card yesterday. I must say the look of the card is a significant improvement over the previous version. The one odd thing is the issuing country is USA and not Canada.

Incidentally, the issue date on the back of the card is November 3 and I received it December 30. Seems to be quite a lag time to get the card to the user.

The "Card Activation" link seems to be unavailable at the moment.

Card activation on GOES is down due to technical difficulties. They hope to have it fixed by January 5...I guess I will put my shiny new NEXUS card in the drawer for the next few days and hope I don't forget about it.

Still no new Nexus card for me, my wife and daughter

mrs sing-along and I received our card yesterday (31DEC). Interesting point was mine was in regular post while my wife's was registered. The only difference was I had gone into GOES to verify my address and my wife had not.

My card was issued on 09DEC while my wife's was issued on 06NOV.

In any event...activation link is down until 05JAN.

I got my new Nexus card in the mail a few days ago.

Did anyone notice the interesting logo on the top right of the new cards? It's the logo for the SPP (Security and Prosperity Partnership Of North America), or as some people like to call it, the North American Union logo. Very interesting.

Is that what that is? I noticed it up there when I was tilting my head looking for the plane,car,boat hologram!

I found that odd at first too. But when I looked at my old card, I noticed it had been issued by the US as well. Perhaps it's becuase that's the country into which you're seeking immigration clearance.
