EoA may be possible but very hard with a 90 minute connection time @ IAD. After you pickup your bags, you can see the EoA facility on the left before you exit the customs area. You may get lucky and there is no one lined up for EoA.

During the last few months, I saw the line was quite long (10+).

Thank you! So I will go normally through immigration, pick up my luggage and hope for the best!

Any news on Philadelphia?

Brutal, tried to do it in the Bahamas yesterday. Got to the airport super early in anticipation of doing global entry on arrival. Kids got their conditional approvals finally while we were in the Bahamas after 8 months so was looking forward to getting it finished. We waited like 15min for the supervisor only to be told the person who did they wasn’t in today. We actually saw a couple people waiting while in the immigration line so for some reason they decided to cut it off when we tried, maybe the lines were getting longer at immigration? Not sure.

Ended up getting some appointments for June. We are in CT so have to travel to Newark for the interview so a pretty big inconvenience but at least it’s before our next international trip.

I have conditional approval and will be coming into IAH on Saturday and was hoping to do EOA. I have all day. Anyone have any data points on IAH EOA?

Global Entry Interview outside USA

Hi. I noticed there are now quite a few airports outside the USA offering global entry interviews. Does anyone know if you have to be on the way to the US through these airports to use global entry on arrival? For example, if I was going to Dubai from the UK but didn't have onward travel to the US, could I still get a GE on arrival interview? How about in a Canadian airport if I don't have onward travel to the US? I have also noticed some actual appointments coming up in Amsterdam - are they only for Dutch citizens or could an UK citizen book them? I can't find anything on the internet at all about doing it there. Thought I'd ask hoping someone here knows the answer!

Welcome to FlyerTalk @pdpamda!

Since your question is primarily about Enrollment on Arrival, I merged your post into the relevant thread.

Take a look at the wiki post. Enrollment on Arrival at foreign airports is available only when traveling to the US and going through US immigration and customs controls.

Regarding your other question, try making an appointment for the Amsterdam enrollment event. Worse case scenario, you won't be able to make one.

There is additional information in the https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/trus...-citizens.html thread.

BA arriving in MIA - EOA possible?

Hi all. I have GE and now the rest of the family have applied and been conditionally approved.

Our next US entry point is MIA flying BA.

Does anyone have insights into which terminal / concourse BA normally arrive please? Trying to figure out if they can do EOA or if I book an interview (availability is good for July).

Annandaler22003 Mar 12, 2023 6:45 am

Enrollment On Arrival at IAD update. EOA is finally available in the mid-field (Concourse C) CBP facility.
It is in the Passport Control area, but AFTER you go through passport control and just BEFORE the
baggage claim area.

Book the interviews as backups just in case that there is an issue completing the EoA interviews. Once the EoA interviews are done, the appointments at the enrollment center will be automatically cancelled.

Having a backup would also be good if you have a connection in MIA, and you may not even want to attempt EoA if your connection is less than 2.5 hours. I figured "the rest of the family" implies at least a 2 or more people, and each interview does take at least 5 minutes even without glitches (e.g. fingerprint scans can't be verified).
You never know how long you'll need to wait for your interviews at arrival. It depends on how many people will ahead of you from arriving flights; how many CBP officers they can pull from the regular immigration lines to do interviews; if the one interviewing officer has their break and doesn't come back for a while (yes, I've seen that happen). And you generally can't loiter around at baggage claim for the others' interviews to wrap up (unless if you're a parent/guardian of child being interviewed, but only 1 needs to be present); officers will make you clear customs and wait landside.

Bumping the above, as I have the same query. Anyone know if EoA is operational at PHL? The CBP website still says

*EoA temporarily suspended. Expected resumption date is October 1, 2022.*
Appreciate if anyone has any info.

Experience at AUS airport: Its a small airport - lot of signs indicating GE on Arrival interviews but counter empty. Checked with the person guiding. Informed to go to regular line (small airport only few counters) and tell the officer. The office processing immigration told to go wait in the secondary area. waited for 15 minutes - no one came. Then one officer came and said they will do only after processing all passengers from my flight and 2 more that are coming. He warned that it will be a long wait, but offered to give me appointment next day at 10. Noted down my passport details. Went next day to the CBP office at airport and took me in immediately- that officer was not the same but knew I was expected. Took 2 mins to process.

Flying into Tampa (TPA) next month and hoping to do EOA for my partner. Does anyone know where "Airside F, Booth 14" is located? I know Concourse F is the main international part of the airport so we should be arriving at a gate here, but I'm not sure whether "Booth 14" refers to a specific desk at the immigration hall itself, or whether there's a separate location we need to visit before we reach the immigration area? As it's not a major international hub, I can't find much online about this particular location, so any advice would be much appreciated!

Does anyone know if the EoA at YVR departures (US pre-clearance) is back open?
