Info on EWR?
Does anyone have information on the GE process at EWR? Terminal B is the international terminal, but EWR is a United hub and United international flights arrive at Terminal C. Is there any way to complete the interview process if arriving at C on an international flight? Also, I missed a recent opportunity to have my interview because I didn't realize the EoA process is conducted in the immigration hall. Newark has an office for GE applicants on the arrivals level in B which I thought also handled EoA interviews, but no, and of course all it says on the GE website is that EoA is in terminal B, but not WHERE in terminal B.

We arrived @ EWR on 4/25 around 6:30 AM. My wife was able to request the agent for enrollment on arrival and she said it was quite simple. She was asked to follow another agent to get her fingerprints and digital pictures and she was done in less than 5 minutes.
She received an email about status change on 4/27 and received the Global entry card in mail today.

Similar question but for ATL. Arriving into Terminal E (on an Intl flight), has anyone been able to EoA at Terminal E Customs (I know it was closed for a while during COVID, but It sounds like its open again), or must you schlep to Terminal F customs if you want to EoA? Thanks, I've searched this, and haven't found any solid answers, The enrollment on arrival page itself is a bit confusing showing:
"Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport Location: Concourse E and Concourse F 6000 N Terminal Parkway Atlanta, GA 30320 Hours of Operation: 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. (F Concourse)" We are connecting onwards after ATL. |
I just received my conditional approval and want to make use of Enrollment on Arrival when I travel to LAX from the Netherlands this week. Do I first have to clear normal immigration and is EOA performed after that? Or is there some office/counter before immigration I should search for? From reading this thread I'm not sure, as a lot of posts talk about renewing Global Entry. Also, because I'm not an American citizen it might be different?

The Enrollment on Arrival process is substantially the same for first time applications and renewals, and for US and foreign citizens. The interview is generally conducted at immigration/passport controls. Follow the signs directing you to the CBP officers who can complete your Global Entry interview during your admissibility inspection. If there are no signs, ask the line minders or tell the CBP officer at the booth that you wish to have your EoA interview. |

Enrollment-on-Arrival at Dulles Airport (IAD) is suspended, possibly until at least October 1, 2022.

See my previous answer. Get in the ESTA line FIRST. DO NOT go to any "Enrollment on Arrival" office or follow any signs pointing to that, because you will still have to clear the regular process regardless.

Thanks, I would have looked for the Enrollment queue before the "normal" immigration line.
The locations of the EoA interviews seem to vary between airports and terminals; at some airports there are dedicated booths for EoA, at others, the interviews are conducted at the regular CBP booths or at a different location after the initial contact with a CBP officer. I suggest reviewing the last few pages of the thread which I linked above. In any event, make sure to ask where the EoA interviews are conducted at the terminal where you go through US immigration controls before getting in line. If there is no one there to provide guidance, make sure to tell the CBP officer that you desire to have an EoA interview before they start processing your admission into the US, otherwise, you may end up being fully admitted into the US as a visitor and miss the opportunity to complete your Global Entry application process. Best of luck! |
If I have an interview scheduled for Y date at some random airport, but I end up taking an international inbound flight at a date earlier that that into a different airport, will I be able to just do my Enrollment on Arrival interview then even though I have the appointment scheduled for a later date?

So just by reading the Wiki, you just follow the signs for the CBP offices and do your interview there? I'm asking because I'll arriving at LAX from an international flight and would love to avoid any long lines through Immigration.

This is the most recent report in this thread of an EoA interview at LAX, it is dated July 5, 2022.

My wife did interview on arrival at LAX. We both went through the normal immigration procedure (they use non-GE electronic kiosks rather than the paper declaration form) and then to the regular immigration booth. After clearing there we were directed to the interview booths at the far left end of the booths. The immigration officer said I could go with her but when we got to the interview booth the agent (with the personality of a rock) told me to go ahead and wait down stairs (there are escalators right path all the booths that take you down to the baggage conveyors). You can wait at the bottom of the escalator or just go off and find your bags.
