Hoping this helps. I found all the info different and confusing. This is my experience. Applied at the beginning of January 2022. Got my conditional on 18th APril, the evening before I was flying LHR to JFK. Arrived at JFK and enquired of an officer how I do enrolment on arrival, and was told to join the ( massive) queue as normal and mention to the immigration officer. At JFK , terminal 4, you have to clear immigration first. You are then directed to an office at the end of the immigration hall behind the global entry machines, where the interview is done. And that’s it. The immigration bit took about 90 minutes today, the interview process a short wait and then just a few minutes, very smooth and very easy. But the definitive thing is you have to clear immigration first, then do the interview.

different experience at SFO, didn't clear immigration, on arrival, there were 2 lines, interview on arrival and normal GE line. Went to the interview on arrival line directly, waited about 1.5hrs and did the interview, no stamp on passport nor receipt of any kind. Since I didn't have checked in luggage and nothing to declare, went passed by customs through nothing to declare lane left airport.

Anyone done it at MCO recently?

Just did it. Had to wait a few minutes but even though there was a busy immigration line they did the interview at the main booths. I asked the guy who was processing my arrival and he made the necessary calls to arrange someone. All in all, it was an extra 20 minutes.

Hello! Canadian citizen and resident here. I've been conditionally approved for over a year now but haven't been able to do my interview. Can I do Enrolment on Arrival if I fly to the United States from Canada? How will it work if I already clear immigration before I even leave Canada? Do I do the interview at US Immigration at the airport?

Enrollment on Arrival is available only to Global Entry applicants, not NEXUS applicants.

It's unclear from your post whether you reside in Cananda or the US. To the best of my knowledge, the only Canadian citizens who are eligible to apply for Global Entry are those who are US Lawful Permanent Residents, otherwise, Canadian citizens can only apply for NEXUS.

Bummer that it took so long. How many were ahead of you in line?

We arrived @ EWR on 4/25 around 6:30 AM. My wife was able to request the agent for enrollment on arrival and she said it was quite simple. She was asked to follow another agent to get her fingerprints and digital pictures and she was done in less than 5 minutes.

She received an email about status change on 4/27 and received the Global entry card in mail today.

I'm landing at 7pm at JFK T7 next Saturday.

After 2 years of waiting (since initial application, not approval) I will hopefully get the chance to do my interview on arrival.

From reading above it would appear I just have to go to a normal booth and say I want to do the interview. I assume this process hasn't changed?

I really hope I can do it, as aside from Doha I can''t see any proper appointments for months.

According to the US CBP Global Entry on Arrival web page, which is linked in the wikipost, "John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) - Terminal Seven British Airways, Booth #1"

Anyone ever done this in Fresno?

scottpat78 May 4, 2022 10:52 am

I completed this in Charlotte as a new application from the UK. Got UK Border Force approval, then applied for conditional approval. All came through in less than 2 weeks.

Sat 23rd March, flew into Charlotte, told the officer I wanted to do EOA, he directed me to a waiting area, passed my passport to a colleague and after 10 mins I was called forward. No questions at all, just photo & fingerprint.

I’m surprised to see that’s an option. I’m guessing it’s a great option, given how there’s only a few flights coming in from Mexico now and then. Probably wouldn’t have to wait long for the interview.

Arrived first week of May at Terminal 8 JFK 6am. Asked for Enrollment on arrival and was told to take the normal line and ask the officer. Very friendly officer stood up, asked a couple of colleagues and told me that they had no one processing at the time, that I could try at terminal 4.

I cleared customs, took the air train and went to Global Entry enrollment center at terminal 4. After about 5 minutes someone showed up, explained I just cleared customs at terminal 8 and wanted the Enrollment on Arrival. They asked for my boarding pass and took my passports. 15-20 minutes later I was called, took a picture, fingerprinted and left. E-mail came about 5 minutes later.

Just to follow up on JFK T7 as I did my interview earlier, a short wait to see an officer to be admitted, then he pointed me at a place to sit whilst someone became free who could do the interview, but he warned it could take a while. In the end it was just over an hour and they said I'd find out if I've been approved in the next day or so.
