Since this site has a wealth of information, I'm reaching out to figure out how the NEXUS application system works. We need back to back appointments for 2 people and booked them for Oct 1 at YVR. When I check the system days later, both our appointment slots are still available. Does this mean more than 1 person can book the same appointment? Should we both book for the exact same time on the same day, or two appointments next to each other on the same day?
Still lots of availability at YVR and Blaine this month. Main St available from September 8 and Seattle from January 9.
For anyone applying from outside the US or Canada, since we're dual nationals (Canadian/UK) we were asked to bring both passports to our interview. Looking forward to getting NEXUS with the added benefits of Global Entry and TSA Pre check to beat those long lines from international flights into the US at JFK, SFO, BOS, MIA, LAX, ...

67/68days. Hopefully my wife is today. Going to look for interview slots
Update: openings on 8/23. Scheduled 4 of us for 8/25. 3@2:45, 1@3:00. Waiting for last approval
**it did say that if all family members were scheduled on the same day that they would take them all together at the earliest scheduled time slot. .. Hoping one slot stays open that day for my wife.

The best thing to do is move your youngest kid out and move your wife into that slot. Then you have 2 adults plus child. Squeezing in an extra child is quite common, and I would much rather aim for that than trying to squeeze in an extra adult

Has anyone else had such a long approval delay post-interview? It seems strange, especially for an infant. Any advice?

...!
We're still waiting for my son's NEXUS card after he interviewed on 6/25. I called the YVR office (604-666-4598) and left a message on 8/15. No return call (yet) and no updates on GOES.

It's not like an infant is at risk of joining ISIS or smuggling booze across the border.
The whole process is unnecessarily opaque and seemingly inefficient.

One more data point: applied for NEXUS on June 4, conditionally approved on Aug 14, snagged an appointment Aug 20 in Detroit, showed up to appointment 1.5 hours early, was taken in immediately, whole thing lasted 10-15 minutes. Got approval email by the time I got back in my car.
Many thanks to everyone in this thread (and the NEXUS info thread)! Was lurking for a while and everything here was super helpful.
