My 2cents if no other flag pop up for him then it should be specially since travel history flags can be ruled out as they approved you quickly

Perhaps you can enter the date on your calendar this time and save yourself over an hour next time around.

Here is the update CBP gave my Senator
Please note – expediting pending applications is not a service CBP can provide. Regrettably we do not have a work around for this situation. Notification of these delays is displayed quite prominently on the TTP page and would have been visible at the start of their application process. Whoever sent this form letter (or their boss or whatever) could log in to whatever system the applications are held in and click "Approve". They could process every application in FIFO order and not let anyone get approved until they work the oldest applications, rather than some people getting approved in 45 seconds and the rest having to wait 11 months. Also, notification of the delays is displayed in a box a the top of the page that is then contradicted further down the page where the Global Entry line says processing time is 4-6 months. Their own response to your Senator quotes 270+ days, so why is everyone OK with the page saying 4-6 months when their own data shows it's over 9? Been waiting since early April of last year. Furious at the inefficiency. I don't live near an international airport anymore, and I know I'm going to require an interview (2nd renewal, they're going to want a new photo.) I had 2 international trips in the past few months that would've been perfect for EoA, but CBP is standing around doing nothing for a few months so now even after the renewal, I won't be able to get to an interview again any time soon without taking a special trip for it, which is just absurd. If this was some sort of volunteer service run by "whoever shows up", that would be one thing, but we get charged for this. It's a reasonable expectation that applications that have the same characteristics are processed in the same way. Mrs. Flyer submitted renewal at the same time and was approved in 12 hours. You can't convince me that it's fair to be waiting 11 months for mine. |

#1 Third time Renewal application for Sept 2022 expiration submitted May 1 2022 - still Pending Review/Wait for conditional approval as of 1/6/23
note saying "Due to a significant increase in application volume, we are extending the grace period to allow you continued full benefits while U.S. Customs and Border Protection is finalizing your renewal application." Attempted to do "Approval on Entry" at SFO Immigration but was denied since it was only Pending #2 Third time Renewal application for June 2023 expiration submitted Sept 2022 - still Pending Review/Wait for conditional approval as of 1/6/23 same info regarding grace period MAY 1, 2022 application submitted - March 11,2023 renewal accepted. The application had said "you will not be notified for any change in status of your application." I assumed the only place to learn of a change is on that dashboard. So after 7 months of checking the site weekly- I did receive an email that the my status had changed. I signed within an hour of receiving the email and elected the "virtual interview" option. I found that the ONLY day/time in 2 months that there was an opening for scheduling the interview was THAT VERY day and with only 3 open time slots - THAT VERY afternoon (within 2 hours). I signed in, Zoomed, showed her my passport, answered a question or 2 and it was done within 4 mins! I was never denied Global Entry/TSA Precheck even though my acct had expired in Sept. Now just waiting on #2 |
March 12th: Submitted Renewal
March 14th: Approved w/o interview Was not expecting to be that fast and w/o interview. |

I suspect it's the former, but wouldn't mind the free extra year of GE ;) |

Approved for renewal somehow without another interview.
Renewal: 2022-04-08 Approved: 2023-03-18 (the email came through at 1:30 AM, I guess people are working late at CBP) 344 days. |
