You are right about the seat . When did everyone not know that 1C had been my seat forever. I am sure Mr Ayling gave it to me personally. PPF was all about giving this P 1C.

When you read this thread on FT, and you nod your head knowingly, at about half of the points, brought up by others because they've happened to you...

As happened to me this morning, when the staff at your local airport think you are staff and give you a discount on your morning coffee.

When you've arrived too late at a hotel for the restaurant and room service, and gone to a late-night convenience store to see what you can rustle up for a hot meal using nothing but the kettle and the iron in your hotel room...

When the check-out agent gives you a strange look as you billed all your F&B charges to the wrong room [mixing hotel room numbers]....

Feeling nervous because you can't remember where you landed from at passport control [as others have noted].....

When the thought of missing the terminal shuttle, seeing another plane walking towards passport control, or missing the Hex [elevator] makes you run like Usain Bolt.....

When a friend says "you only just went on holiday?!" and you can't quite remember where or when....

2 passports.

Partly to apply for visas.

Partly so that when you visit "certain countries", they don't hassle you for having visited "certain other countries"...
