I may have posted this before, but:

EWR - LGA on CO in 1990s.

This was a scheduled flight to ferry a plane to LGA. Employees only, not available to the public.

My mom did that one back in the 50's. She was booked on a flight to EWR to BDL, but got on the wrong plane by mistake and ended up in LGA. It was a scheduled flight back then.

I've done YIP>DTW, CMX<>QIR, LHR>NGO, NRT>CLE, and NRT>GLA.

Midway (which doesn't seem to have an airport code) to JON (Johnston Atoll).

Flight was supposed to go HNL-JON, but some kind of cargo issue sent us to Midway first.

Midway Atoll is MDY, no?

JON, on the other hand, was shut down in 2005.

I did ALB-RDG back when Commutair was flying Beech 1900s out of Albany, good times sitting in the middle of the 3 wide bench that made up the last row.

I googled Midway and could not find a code - maybe didn't look hard enough.

Yes, JON was shut down in 2005. I left in late 2003 when the chem demil plant was D&Ded.

How about BKK-NPT. NPT is a very large airport in the capital city that is usually empty. It had 17 international check-in desks last year and only 1 outgoing international flight per day!

I give up. Where is NPT? Google tells me Rhode Island but I think otherwise.
