By the way, you'll probably remember my message # 1180 (http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showp...ostcount=1180), where I reported a minor issue with Apollo; I could no longer read the flight duration of a specific segment by right-clicking on it.

Now, with version 2.8.1, the flight duration for every single segment is available again in Apollo!

Your customer support is excellent, and my appreciation is genuine and, above all, totally UNBIASED. In fact, besides being a Platinum user of the Tool, I am also a Premium member of "another service" (I won't mention its name here, because I don't want to advertise anyone) and, on many occasions, I've found both products (yours and that of the other company) great and complementary to each other.

Thanks so much again, and keep up the good work!

Thank you for the feedback, DEX456!

Tried searching, but no dice...

Long story short. I'm waitlisted for a business class reward upgrade on the following flight. Continental.com is showing all seats sold in business and KVS is showing three seats available (all the seatmaps confirm three seats also). Any ideas what can be causing the discrepancy?

Thanks for the help!

There is no discrepancy: 3 seats are, indeed, available for sale in the Business class cabin (and are currently available for purchase via Continental.com). However, upgrades are booked in the F booking class (which CO had decided to hide as of a few months ago).

Having said that, your chances of getting the upgrade would have been better, should there have been standard business-class award availability (CS):

Perhaps I am searching incorrectly with the tool or on Continental's website (I've been known to make errors before :D ).

Here's what I'm getting when trying to book a paid BF seat:

! There are no First/BusinessFirst/International Business Class seats available on CO387 in the New York/Newark, NJ (EWR - Liberty) to Orange County, CA (SNA) market.
Flight CO387 in the New York/Newark, NJ (EWR - Liberty) to Orange County, CA (SNA) market is in economy class.

Perhaps my BF seat was not meant to be on this day on this particular transcon (I feel better know that I NEVER would have cleared a EUA).

PNR for SQ

hi,

does anybody know how i can check PNR for SQ flights? I have tried all the options available in the tools but all returned nil results. thanks.

Apologies if this is not the right place for technical questions.

When I launch KVS with the shortcut, this pops up instead:

Easy CD creator 5 Basic

Please wait while Windows configures Easy Cd Creator 5

After a minute or so another window pops up:

Easy CD Creator 5
The feature you are trying to use is on a CD rom that is not available. Please insert & try again.

If I click “cancel” 4 or 5 times, more screens for the CD creator pop up, but eventually KVS appears and all is well.

This happened before and after I downloaded the newest version. A friend more computer savvy than I suggested that maybe the KVS icon and the Roxio CD creator somehow share a common something-or-other in the registry. I didn't get all of that so I thought I would check with the real experts.

Marylou,
This happened to me as well, conflicting with my Health Office work program. KVS advised uninstalling and reinstalling. It cleared the problem for me. He said it's the windows installer causing the problem, more than likely. Anyway, all is well, now.
As an aside...My SIL, Marylou, is dividing her time between NOLA and Fairfax, Va.

Thanks Eileen, I'll give that a try.

Today, I feel like I'm in Va. I hate this cold snap!

To add to EileenSRN's response, please also see the KVS Tool FAQ under "I am being prompted to complete installation for ____________ (some completely irrelevant software title), when trying to run the Tool."

You can only see your SQ PNR, if the booking was made through a Travel Agent. Bookings made directly with SQ reside in their internal system and cannot be accessed externally.
