Do you have any idea when the TravelASP seat maps will come back? I know it is not KVS' fault but I thought you might have some insight.

I am afraid I still don't have any further information regarding the issues with the WSpan seat maps ...

In the meantime, I have enhanced the Apollo and Galileo seat maps, as explained in the [What's New In Version 2.8.0] post above ...

KVS,

FWIW, there are still issues with the system recognising "MAN" as an airport code in Sabre: Fares/DotRes, but all the other search methods seems to be fine.

Great enhancements in 8.0, thanks!

I'm a plat. user, how come I can't find the 'Apollo UA upgrade' on the pull-down menu?

The 'MAN issue' is caused by an ongoing bug in the DotRes engine: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showt...57#post5941357 ...

I thought that award tickets on AC - D and W were available using the Galileo option - appears that this is no longer the case. Also are award tickets on AA (booked using BA miles) displayed?
Thanks!

I am afraid that AC's award classes were never available using any Method, and the same goes for AA.

Pls see the [Classes Displayed By Airline] section for details of supported booking classes by airline/method.

A seat hold out...

Not sure this is the best place to query, but...
Yesterday a TA in LA said that on the 11:10 am LAX-PHL-MAN flt US "holds" one F seat until 1 hour before takeoff, just in case someone needs a last minute trip to England. She said that even when the res clerks look LAX-PHL it won't show up, it will show on LAX-MAN only. Lucky for me, since my hubby (SP) was able to join me in F. We had split the PNR in the hopes of a better chance of clearing one seat at the window and the second at the gate. He very nicely gave his UG seat to me.
Are there other situations out there like this?

Is Gold user no longer allow access to the Galileo seat map after update to version 2.8?

In V2.8, Apollo and Galileo seat maps are now shown automatically, and users no longer need to go through a manual 'dummy booking' process.

With this upgrade, Gold-tier users gained access to these new automated Apollo seat maps, but access to the new Galileo seat maps is reserved for Platinum-tier users: http://kvs.unrealnetwork.com/Tool/#Levels

Since this has to do with an internal airline policy, specific to US, perhaps you would like to re-post it in the corresponding forum ...
