How long do you have to wait? :p

I have had the tool probing for it for more than 300 cycles....and nothing with both of the above methods....!

Apollo ITN Graphical seatmap or "C" class or "F" class.

"An Error Has Occurred"

Fix in the works?

Well, I am not sure which one of the two seat map methods you were actually referring to, but I just tried them both for the flight in question, and they both worked OK ...

Are you using an up-to-date version of the Tool?

I have no idea why, but I have *never* been able to get KVS to show me a seatmap for flights I use....such as 9w, LH, SQ (who do not publish Economy seatmaps, but we *should* see J/F seatmaps!) and other carriers...

LH seat maps are available using any of the seat map options. SQ maps can only be accessed using Galileo or WSpan. 9W does not have a GDS data link for the seat maps.

That 'counter' shouldn't go over 10 or so, so this indicates a problem with your local system -- pls see the troubleshooting section of the KVS Tool FAQ ...

Of course ... level is 2.8.1 ... and since I am only GOLD I have no access to the Textual version so it would have to be the Graphical Version. Oh well - still giving me the same message ... no time to play with it this evening...

That error has not been previously reported by any other users, and I am unable to reproduce it ... Could you see if this is also happening on your 2nd PC?

Checked the FAQ, but if KVS is retrieving flight data, but not the seat maps, then what??

Is that happening for all 5 seat map methods? Please e-mail me the screenshots ...

I have not had a 2nd PC for over 1 year. So no can do there. I had a 2nd PC only during a transition period to a new laptop a year ago.

Solved. Thanks.

I did a search and didn't find the answer I was looking for, so I'll ask a question that has most likely been addressed (at the risk of being told to search harder)...

If a flight is totally zeroed out, why doesn't it appear in the KVS tool for Apollo? For instance, NW 354 on 5/10 is quite likely sold out so it presently doesn't appear in the tool for me.

Am I doing something wrong?

Zeroed-out flights (e.g. Y0) show at the end of the list. In some cases, you may also need to specify a value in the [TIME:] field to make such flights appear:

Version 2.8: What's New

What's New in Version 2.8.0
  • New Seat Map Options
    • Apollo and Galileo seat maps can now be requested in just a click, and without a need to go through a 'dummy booking' process! Both text-based (recommended for advanced users), and graphical seat map versions are now available.

  • New Flight/Operational Info Manager
    • Provides quick and easy access to operational flight info, historical performance data, and flight tracking.

  • Automatic Update Notification
    • Once every 10 days, the Tool will automatically check to see if there is a newer version available for download, and, if so, an appropriate message will be displayed. This process takes only a second or two to complete, and should not cause any noticeable delays.

What's New in Version 2.8.1
  • Access to the [Apollo-ITN] Method and the [Apollo] Seat Maps restored.

What's New in Version 2.8.2
  • Access to the [WorldSpan] Seat Maps has been restored.

What's New in Version 2.8.3
  • Update to restore access to the [WorldSpan: TravelASP] Seat Maps.

[Download Version 2.8.3 Now]

Happy Birthday, KVS Availability Tool!

It's quite hard to believe, but as of today, the KVS Availability Tool is officially 3 years old! This thread was started on 06 May 2004, and now has over 230 000 views ...

Just a quick reminder, that all Registration Code requests should be submitted using the Registration Wizard online form, and not via PM.
