Which Method are you using?

Certain Engines may request a CAPTCHA validation if you exceed their velocity limits.

KVS Tool

Has anyone had trouble using the KVS Tool? I have Windows 8.1 and while it downloads fine, it doesn't seem to run on my computer. Thanks!

The $99 price for WorldMate Gold is the old WorldMate subscription fee which was available for Blackberry devices.

The new WorldMate subscription is purchases in the App Store or in-app for Android users and the fee is $9.99/year. We sometimes have price drops during which the price changes, like when "Shak51" bought it.

I therefore advising you to purchase Gold in your Android device for $9.99/year. We'd be happy to assist you with the purchase or with any other things, please feel free to contact [email protected].

Thanks. I got the email asking for the renewal and the links lead to the 99.99 yearly price. I haven't found any renewal in the app. How do I do this? 9.99 is totally acceptable.

She responded: "I don't know what ETR is, but I show the flight you are requesting is sold out and yes, I agree that the other flight is showing Y7, F3."

Can someone please explain, reconcile? I thought we were both looking at the same real time data?

It could be a POS issue. Different locations can show significantly different availability. For example, if you are in the UK and AA is using a US POS. As asked earlier, what is the flight number and date?

BA award. I do not use it more than I used it previously which is still not a lot.

Is it possible to filter out an airline? So, for example, if I put [UA] or -UA on the "Filter by Airline Code(s)" line, I would be able to eliminate those listings?

Also, is there a way to force/invoke the calendar option on Award Travel searches; regardless of availability?

Thank you!

'GA' maps to '**' in Fares/PSH Method?

When I enter 'GA' as the airline in the Fares/PSH method, I get fare results from multiple airlines - and in fact it seems to be exactly the same results as if I enter '**'. Meanwhile, all other airline codes (that I've tried) correctly restrict the results to just that airline.

It seems this is happening on a variety of routes that I've tried. Can't remember if it worked correctly before (but I think it did...)

Looks like ExpertFlyer was told by Delta to stop showing ANYTHING DELTA!!! as of today.

Even simple things such as flight info! Nothing! When you do a search for anything that specifies DL, you get the following message at the top of the page:

Delta has requested that we no longer offer to you any information on ExpertFlyer pertaining to Delta, and as such Delta flight data is unavailable at this time. More information about the change and how to send feedback to Delta about it can be found here. Thank you for your understanding.

This, of course, is starting a huge uproar in the Delta forum.

I'm very interested in KVS, as I had to decide between EF & KVS a couple of years ago. I chose EF because it seemed as though most people in the Delta forum use it.

I'd like to hear from KVS as to how this new requirement from Delta might affect KVS before I spring for the top subscription level.

Thanx!

DT :)

We are unable to provide speculative comments regarding an airline's requirements vis-a-vis an unrelated entity.

The [Fares/PSH] Engine is unable to restrict the results to certain airlines (such as GA). In such cases, all Fares (incl. GA Fares) will be shown, if applicable.

You can click the Alliance button (e.g. [*A]) and then delete the undesirable Airline(s) from the list.

No, the Calendar list can only be shown when there is no Award Availability on the requested date.

Thank you for the response. By the way, I can't ever get the BA award searching to work. Is this a known issue? I'm using 7.4.1.

Mine works fine. Be aware that BA's website changed from a PIN based access to a password based access. Be sure that you can log on to the BA website independently of KVS.
