FlyerTalk Forums - KVS Availability Tool

Since USDM will leave *A today :(
I have to use my miles for OW tickets.
On KVS which I have used for many years now I am trying to workout the best way to
find award space on JAL. The setting OneWorld does not show it and when I try CX or JL,
it does not work for JL award space.

Hello. Tried that many times but I still get the same error message:
RSD-1 & RSD-2 "please enter a departure"
I have changed departures from NRT to HND to KIX and dates on various months and this error message keeps popping up. I know BA and JL have these flights daily but do not show up.
Like NRT-LHR, NRT-HEL, NRT-YVR etc.
Ideas?

What are the actual route(s) you are trying to search?

I think KVS is best for *A.
I just did June 1 for NRT-ORD
Availability showed various flights
Award/UG showed RSD-2 "Please enter a departure"
Very slow to even get that result compared to *A.

There is no Award Availability on 01 Jun.

KVS was fine this morning, but when I just tried it for a Star Alliance search, all of my hits come back with "?".

OneWorld searches are unaffected.

Windows, running KVS version 7.3.6 with Diamond membership.

Any ideas what's going on?

Hello. I did what you said and dowloaded 7.3.6.
It did work for October 1.
I guess when your try June 1, if there is no award space it will state "No availability".
Honestly, *A is a gem to work with. This OW will take some getting used to.

Hey,
I need some help!

I've been trying to search for Award seats using the BA-OneWorld method. It keeps telling me Data Source Error [L]: ""
I've tried that for about a week now. I've also tried OneWorld method but it doesn't seem to give me all the airline options.

Am I doing something wrong? I've downloaded the latest 7.3.5.R3/Diamond

Also one other question about One World searching. I didn't see a capability for +/- 3 day or +6 day searching compared to Star Alliance?

Just downloaded 7.3.6/diamond

Getting:

[Shell Execute] ERROR 5 : access denied

On a lot of functions...even when trying to launch quick link to user guide.

Running as an admin on machine
