Any way to use KVS tool without installing Windows, which I will not do? |
I had a question about the KVS tool specifically searching CX award less than 4 days from departure. For example if I wanted to check award 2 days from now. Is there any other way to check since when I use the tool, it says it's too close to check?

Of course, it's not guaranteed that AA will see the same availability, but I think you have a good shot at the space being available. |

I have just installed KVSTool using Crossover for Mac. I am getting the following error when I am searching for upgrade availability:
Data Source Error [SF]: "(Engine Error SF1-BKM)" I am unsure what to do at this stage as I am new to using Crossover - previously using Parallels Desktop where it worked perfectly but it is MUCH easier to use it this way if I can get it working... I cannot understand why it is so hard for KVSTool to release a Mac version... |
I have been a Diamond user for years now and today is the first time (every time I try and find a *A) flight I have enter the captcha code.
Very irritating. :td:

Users, who exceed the query/velocity limits when using the [Awards/StarAlliance] Method, may be prompted for a CAPTCHA -- this is a requirement that is imposed by the [Awards/StarAlliance] Engine itself.
The OP may wish to use the [Awards/AC-StarAlliance] Method instead. |
Access Denied?
I repeatedly get this message when searching for upgrade/award space on UA using Awards-Upgrades/UA. Not having any issue when I search on UAL.com with expert mode to be able to get at R/I space.
Please advise, thanks. |
also having issues with United Awards

I've been getting that same error message since last night. Sent a message to KVS but no answer back yet. Hopefully UA hasn't found a way to block access like they've done with EF and others.

Agreed - that's my worry. Esp. since Availability searches for UA (that DON'T show I/O/R space) work just fine.

Not good and very annoying.

Having the same problem. I'm concerned that United is blocking KVS tool but not sure how since it just uses our log-in. I am travelling abroad so thought it might be an IP issue but with others complaining, this is clearly something more systemic.

Please note that the [Awards-Upgrades/UA] Method is currently unavailable.
