Do you have the Off-Line mode activated in MSIE?

I really need to get back on KVS. THANKS! I guess I have to go buy a $100 computer just so I can get my KVS back. KVS is the only way to plan long complex trips. No other tool comes close.

If you have a copy of Windows lying around, I imagine VMware (or whatever VM software you prefer) would be cheaper than a new machine.

I've got MSIE 11 and having a look on google it seems they have removed the "off-line mode" toggle option in the file menu.

The ITA Query builder never works for me. The values given by KVS never produce a result in ITA. Advise please

I installed KVS a day ago and have been playing around with it. So far, so good.
Let me apologize for asking a question that I'm sure has been answered at some point before. However, I can't seem to find a straight forward answer. On an existing UA reservation, how do I find its routing rules using KVS? Thanks so much! |

On an existing UA reservation, how do I find its routing rules using KVS? If you know the Fare Basis Code for your ticket, you can also enter it manually via the [Other Fare] option. |

Welcome to the KVS Tool!
You need to locate a matching Fare using the [Fares] Tab to retrieve its Routing Rules. If you know the Fare Basis Code for your ticket, you can also enter it manually via the [Other Fare] option. |

Hello,
Just subscribed to kvs. I'm doing a search for EWR-FCO on Nov 12th, 2014. 2 passengers. KVS tool doesn't return any availability. But when i search on united.com. I see availability for First class(UA) and business class(TAP). Are my searching options wrong? Thanks! |

I see awards on united that are multi segment via other airports. You might need so search segment by segment since non-stops from EWR to FCO are not available. For example if you search EWR to GVA it does bring back the UA flights, as does the GVA to FCO search on the 13th brings back the LX availability.

Indeed, the OP needs to specify a connecting point, search segment-by-segment, or use the [Awards/AC-StarAlliance] Method.

I thought with Awards/StarAlliance and "Connections" ticked, it would include any connections to my final destination. Thanks again!. |
I Have another question. I'm not sure if this is the right place to post it though. Mods move it if need be.
I'm searching with [Awards/AC-StarAlliance] now. Im looking at another booking. YUL-ZRH , Oct 1st, 2014. Has availability for business. YUL (LH479) - FRA FRA(1186) - ZRH. I searched this same route on United.com and Aeroplan.com. The availability shows on Aeroplan but not on United. Is United hiding availability ? or its phantom? Ultimately i have United points and i would like to use them to book a flight on United.com Thank you! Laura. |
