There is no Award Availability on that date -- please download V7.3.2.R3 to ensure that the correct Error Message gets displayed:

OK, although the KVS tool said I had the latest update, I did download R4 from the website and installed it.
Problem resolved. |
Hi there,
I just downloaded and installed KVS Tool and have been playing around with it. However, the Availability/FS method does not seem to show any AA flights. I am searching for CLT - LGA on 2/7/2014. There are a handful of AA flights that day but none are showing up. Am I missing something? |

I have the latest update but am getting the same error message re "please enter departure" on BA award searches. The same dates work fine when searching OW awards. Any suggestions?

Thanks a lot KVS. That did it, though not every AA flight is showing up. Searching CLT - LGA using Availability/ETR for 3/21/2014, and only AA 3594 appears. Google Flights shows several flights for that day. Any idea?

Got it. Thanks KVS!

I'm still learning what KVS is telling me...
I'm looking for two business class award seats on 25 Feb 2014 from AUS to MAD. KVS shows an IB flight (IB 6250) with CS+ availability from JFK to MAD. However, the AA representative on the phone says that there is zero business class award availability on that flight. What am I reading incorrectly? |

Hello all,
I was wondering the following: I often see flucuating ticket prices. For instance: A KLM ticket that was 86 euros on monday afternoon, 109 on mondag evening and 88 on tuesday morning. I'm wondering if KVS could give me any useful information about these fluctuations (chances of price going down for instance). Edit: Just found the answer to my first questions: You found a trip and are unsure if you should purchase it now, put it on-hold, or wait for the price to go down. Click the [Fares] Tab and select the [Fares/PSH] Method. Double-click the fare to see the applicable Fare Rules. Note any pertinent restrictions (e.g. "must be ticketed at least 14 days prior to departure"). If your departure date is 15 days away, you will know that the price will definitely increase tomorrow, since you will no longer qualify for the current fare. You will also know the amount of the fare increase you would be facing, since you can see the next fare up. Click the [Availability] Tab and select the [Availability/FS] Method. Note Availability for the desired flights. If there are just a few seats left in the corresponding Booking Class, then you should put the booking on-hold ASAP to reserve the space. Edit2: In addition to that, I was wondering if Easyjet, Ryanair, Wizzair are supported? Thanks in advance! |

However, Schedules and Flight Status are supported for most LCCs. |
I've been loving KVS for quite awhile and have just downloaded Crossover so I can get my KVS love at home on my Mac. When do you think the bug will be fixed that generates this message, "The [Awards/StarAlliance]/[Awards/StarAlliance-7D] Methods cannot currently function under CrossOver Mac (Error Message: "Engine Error SF1-BSY/SF1-BKM" or "ANA"), due to a bug in the CrossOver/WINE system itself. Please use the [Awards/AC-StarAlliance] Method instead (Diamond level membership is required)."?
