Possible that it got snatched up before you could book it?

Nope checked before and after calling DL
Are you also selecting the Elite option when you are trying to book on DL.com? |

The results in your OP indicate that you have activated the [Elite] Mode -- is it showing YS or YE seats?
Are you also selecting the Elite option when you are trying to book on DL.com? But I had to call DL for a flight delay and low and behold it is available. This is the 2nd time this has happened. It seems like KVS is about 4-8 hours ahead of what I can find availability. |

This page has a good breakdown of what methods are available for each membership level: http://www.kvstool.com/Screenshots.php#Awards_SA The BA method is only for Diamond, however the Amadeus OneWorld method (which includes BA) is available to Platinum members |
Well I wouldn't say that's very clear on this page.

Most likely using the wrong method.

But your page is misleading.

As jasonvr had already explained earlier on, BA Award Availability is fully accessible via the [Awards/OneWorld] Method at the Platinum level. It is also accessible via [Awards/BA-OneWorld] at the Diamond level. You're welcome to upgrade to a higher level at anytime, however, it is certainly not required for BA Award Availability. |
Sabre: Fares/DotRes doesn't seem to be pulling up results for business class searches.

I have to imagine there are fares published between LAX and LHR on some carrier :) Galileo does return results: Please use [Galileo: PSH] and/or [ATP: FC] Methods in the meantime. |
YOW-PHX - UA ticketed, but codeshared on AC
I will be going to a medical conference to be held in PHX in late April. It is funded by an US federal medical association, funded by NIH (ie funded by the US government). Although the association pays for the my travel expenses, one on the restrictions is that the airline ticket has to be designated that of an airline based in USA.
I want to fly on AC, if at all possible, over flying on any US based airline. The only way I can do this is by getting a US based airline (that probably means UA) designated ticket, codeshared on AC. These flights are codeshared on AC. I want to fly on Fri April 27. No problems there - I can get UA 8289 and 8473.The problem is coming back. I could come back on Sun April 29 - by getting ticketed for UA 8474 and UA 8290. If I fly on Sunday, I miss at least couple of hours of the conference (the conference finishes shortly after noon). However, I can not find these flights (for Mon April 30) on the UA web site, nor through the KVS tool. The question is what, if any, options do I have to fly on on a US designated ticket (but codeshared on AC) on Mon April 30? From my perspective, I do not have to fly via the YYZ hub - I can fly via YVR, YYC, YEG, YUL, or YWG. If necessary, I could fly on 3 flights, rather than 2 - and the first one can be on a relatively short haul UA flight to LA, SFO, or DEN. What I do not want is a longer-haul flight on UA metal, but on a AC flight. PS-Is there any way that the KVS tool can be used to look specifically for codeshared fligths - let us say UA on AC - anywhere in the world? PPS-I presume that US does not codeshare on AC? |
Going from YOW to Australia in Dec - 2 types of questions
I want to go from YOW to Perth Australia for a vacation in Dec.
1. Using the KVS tool, I can not get fare routing rules on Air New Zealand - I could not get the routing rules for any departure point in Canada to any destination in New Zealand or Australia. 2. I may want to go on a Star Alliance RTW or Circle Pacific ticket between YOW and Perth Australia. How do I find out the fares, and fare rules and routing rules for both types of tickets? |
