How do I move beyond "Current Registration Code Has Expired"?
I'm current with a new registration (new member) as of a few days ago. I'm ready to do my homework and book a flight, but can't gain access to use the KVS tool.
Quick fix for me? Thanks. |

I have used KVS in the past, but it seems like I can't get the grip of it. I just searched for a DL award flight from JFK to NRT for 3 ppl on August 10th. KVS says "CX+" is available. From the legend I found in the FAQ's it should be mean there is J class available at any award level and enough seats. If I got to DL.com and try to look for this flight it shows up as medium award level. What exactly am I doing wrong or not understanding?

I had trouble to redownload KVS on a new work laptop which has 64 bit windows 7.0... It was trying to create a folder in windows 32..

I have been checking BA award availability and I am curious because sometimes it will let me check flights 355 days out, but often I will get an error message ("Please try using a different POS setting for this query."). Am I getting lucky when it will let me check +355, or is it a bug that it won't let me always check +355?
Now this is really obscure (and might belong on the BAEC board) but I am a little curious about how the +355 (or +354) rules work across time zones. Are the tickets released by BA at midnight GMT for anyone to book, or do people only have access to book whatever is available when the new day starts in their time zone (I am in the US, if you couldn't guess).

Last, I use KVS on both a PC and a mac (via crossover), but the mac has not been able to startup since the new version came out. I assume I have to uninstall and reinstall the new version?

http://Help.KVSTool.com/#Method_WSpan_Awards_DLSkyTeam In this case, 110K SM corresponds to a Medium Level C Class Award. The next version of the KVS Tool will be able to decode this automatically for most routes and show xS/xM/xA instead of xX. [KVS Availability Tool 6.9.3/Diamond - WSpan: Awards/DL-SkyTeam] Code:

No problem installing on two different Win 7 64 bit laptops here. Possibly a permission issue? Not sure if it needed to be installed as an admin on my work laptop.

Data Source Error [R]: "3203"
My tool was working on Friday, but today, when i try to look at Amadeus: Awards/OneWorld award availability I get the 3203 error.
I also get errors Data Source Error [RW-1] with Awards/JL-OneWorld. These are both queries I had saved and worked on Friday. I upgraded to 6.9.3/Diamond and am still having problems. Any idea what the issue is? |
I've the diamond version and right now nothing is working in the tool! (Also mobile companion doesn't work) Always errors. (Version 6.9.3). Didn't have problems before...
Can you help me? |

There was a systemwide Amadeus problem today. I don't think it's a specific KVS issue. See this thread for example. There are probably others on FT as well as it's affected more than just BA.
http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/british-airways-executive-club/1308420-all-bookings-disappeared-ba-com.html http://www.Telegraph.co.uk/travel/tr...ter-crash.html All systems should now be working normally. For access to the [Awards/JL-OneWorld] Method, please upgrade to KVS Tool V6.9.4. |

Indeed, there was a major Amadeus system outage earlier on today, which lasted approximately 3 hours:
