Please follow the instructions in the above-mentioned tip on the CrossOver website or contact CrossOver support for assistance, since this an issue with the CrossOver system and not the KVS Tool itself.
Can you please refer this error to your senior technical support - please note (again) the details I have provided in an earlier post. I am very disappointed with the support provided on this forum. |
Go install VirtualBox and run it there - it's much better than Crossover and I never have any issues with it.

Ok thanks for the tip - I'll look into it - I was trying to avoid buying a Windows licence (particularly since I already licensed Crossover). I must admit I am unconvinced that my current issue is caused by Crossover but since other KVS users are apparently not having this issue ....
Were you ever able to fix your previous errors "Data Source Error [RD-3] "Session/MSIE Cookies Error" when using method "Awards/JL-OneWorld"." This is the exact same problem I am having trying to use KVS and crossover. |

Hi pschafer,
Were you ever able to fix your previous errors "Data Source Error [RD-3] "Session/MSIE Cookies Error" when using method "Awards/JL-OneWorld"." This is the exact same problem I am having trying to use KVS and crossover. It seems that KVS under Crossover is something of a lost cause - they certainly don't provide any support. I licenced KVS when the US/AA merger was announced as all OneWorld airlines are very difficult to search using a single tool - for *A I use both ANA and ExpertFlyer. Now with the US/AA merger delayed - my requirement of KVS is not as great - but this will change (I presume) - I will look into various alternatives - whether using VirtualBox / Windows for KVS (as suggested) or another tool. |

I have tried the tip suggested and I still get the error. I have contacted Crossover with an error report and they say it is not a Crossover issue.

I still get this error when using the JL-OneWorld method - I just gave up on it and use Awards/Oneworld

More on Crossover / KVS
Here is a summary of my situation:-
1. I am running the most current version of Crossover (12.5.1) - are you recommending an earlier version (i.e. 9.1.x)? 2. This issue started "out of blue" - I had made no changes whatsoever to Crossover or KVS. All of a sudden KVS asked me to (re-)enter my licence key for no apparent reason (which I did) then asked my to (re-)enter my FF numbers for each program (which had been entered many months prior). After this - I started getting the Error 15057 using the AC/StarAlliance method - other methods still work (note the JL method has never worked). 3. Subsequently I have upgraded both Crossover and KVS to the latest versions but the problem persists. (I even de-installed KVS and started over from "scratch" so to say as this approach worked some time ago when KVS started looping for no reason and my request for support did not offer anything useful). 4. The problem started happening on 3 different Macs (2 running Lion and one running Mountain Lion) - in each case, KVS asked for the licence key to be re-entered, etc, etc as in point 2 above. I have tried, to no avail, the various tips on both the KVS and the Crossover support web-pages. So KVS-support, can you please explain why you are sure this is a Crossover problem and I will take this info back to Crossover support. Could it be an issue related to the Aeroplan web site - given that it's the AC method that is failing. Of course this would not explain why KVS all of a sudden "lost" my licence key(s) and FF details. (This has happened in the past but upon re-entering this info everything worked fine again). BTW - I am a very computer literate / Mac savvy person so I don't think this is some sort of silly user error. Taking the VirtualBox approach is an option but not one I am too keen on as KVS is the only Windows app I use. Are there any plans for a native Mac version of KVS? |

You may wish to make backup copies of the KVS Tool configuration files, in case it happens again: http://Help.KVSTool.com/#Q11

There are no plans for a separate Mac version at this time. You may wish to consider using Parallels Desktop/VMWare Fusion/VirtualBox for Mac, which is the only way to ensure 100% compatibility -- perhaps you have an old PC machine lying around with a Windows 2000/XP license that you could transfer? |
I finally got past this problem (error 12057 using AC/Staralliance) - after much research I realised that in implementing the Crossover "tip" you initially mentioned I had incorrectly set the "accept_invalid_certs" in the wrong place in the bottle's directory. So please close my bug report and many thanks for your assistance, Pat

I am a long-time user but am having trouble today with oneworld rewards. AA.com shows tons of availability from NYC-TFS on 4/23/2014 and 4/16/2013 but the OW-Qantas and OW-BA methods are showing 0 flights for 4/16 and 1 flight for 4/23. What might be going on here? I don't remember having this issue before. Does KVS not show all the award flights available on AA.com?

Sorry I meant in economy so YS+. You will notice that only one flight here has YS+ fully available - the others will get filtered out due to one or more legs not being available on YS. The AA website shows many economy low-redemption options.

Hi, I'm noticing a difference in inventory available between KVS (using Availability/FS method and ensuring UA is airline selected) and the united.com site:
