[Awards/SkyTeam] should be more authoritative for MU:

When I try to use the departures/arrivals search tool, into Miami, for a date within the acceptable date range, and keep getting the following error:

Error Requesting Data [R]:

Error 12057: Gopher - Attribute Not Found
Unable to validate the revocation of the SSL certificate because the revocation server is unavailable.
Disconnected (1s)

Error 9002: No Data Received
Disconnected

I have entered a valid FlightStats username/password and made sure that the default settings were still intact.

Any suggestions?

Thanks for the reply. When I click on Internet Options there is no Advanced tab, but if I pick the Security tab there are only the Internet, Local Intranet, Trusted Sites, etc options with a sliding bar underneath to increase/decrease the security settings which I am unable to move.

I'm using KVS via Crossover on a mac so not sure if that has anything to do with it...

Have you tried [re-]installing Internet Explorer in CrossOver?

Unfortunately, none of the OneWorld Award Availability data sources currently supports KNO.

Hi...I'm a newbie with KVSTool, and confused. I thought that this means there are 2 AA MileSAAver coach awards available, but AA.com and the EXP desk both say not. So what exactly does "YS+" mean here? Thanks!

It usually means that Economy is available, however the oneworld search is not always accurate. Confirm by doing a BA search.

You're right, YS availability on AA doesn't show up when searching under Awards/BA-OneWorld.

Thanks for the explanation.

Confused

Struggling new user here.
I'm trying to do an open jaw and having no success - even tried two 1-ways and used the codes in ITA, no luck still.

Also, when I search for a return in the tool on specific dates, I get some great prices listed that rules suggest should be available, but can't find them in ITA.

Clearly doing something wrong as I currently feel like I've been conned out of membership fee yet everyone else seems to rave about this!

As mentioned at http://Help.KVSTool.com/#AA, the [Awards/JL-OneWorld] Method is currently the most authoritative for AA Award Availability, followed by [Awards/BA-OneWorld] and [Awards/OneWorld] (which the OP had used):

[KVS Availability Tool 7.2.5/Diamond - Awards/JL-OneWorld/US]
Code:

ZRH  Zurich CH [LSZH]
JFK  New York John F Kennedy Intl NY US [KJFK]
THU  14 Aug 2014

Carrier    Flight  From  Depart    To    Arrive    A/C  St  Availability
---------  ------  ----  --------  ----  --------  ---  --  ------------
AA        65      ZRH  10:00    JFK  13:00    763  0  CS0  YS0
