Question: why do availability differ for point-to-point vs a transit involving 2 sectors? Specifically i'm looking at BKK-HKG on 25th August using Cathay Pacific. if I search under BKK-HKG the flight is zero out in cheap economy class for most of them. However if I search under BKK-HKG-TPE on same day, most of cheaper economy class are open.

If anything I would have thought married segment BKK-HKG-xxx will be lower priority than straight BKK-HKG. Or am I mistaken?

Am searching for MAN-JFK on AA for October 12th. AA website shows Q availability, but KVS doesn't? Why is this? |
AA award to PPT
Can KVS help me find flights to PPT? I currently have a couple of business class tickets scheduled for 10/16 - 10/25 (IND->LAX->PPT->HNL->DFW->IND). I need to change this to either the first 2 weeks of November or anytime in December. I am also not crazy about the fact that one of my existing flights goes through HNL. I have used KVS in the past with success, but those were all One World awards. I have spent hours one the phone and looking for a better solution to search for flights.
