There’s been no change to the Aircraft Type notification. We designed it for exactly that use! If you see it missing send us a screenshot and the flighty url to support.

Are you referring to the notifications? You can go to settings and adjust alerts for your flights to toggle on “Above & Beyond,” which includes aircraft changes

Hi, been using Flighty Pro for more than a year now. I love tracking flights but have some new notes

- Fall 2022 flighty had some cool stats that you could share, but they dissapeared for the new year update
- I love the stat screens recently added into flighty, but I really hope they don't go away again
- I would love to see a list of tail numbers and click on them to see which flights I had on them. I know in the recent update you show which tail nos I've been on most, but a complete list would be very nice.
- When looking at a flight page, it shows the route historical info, but it only shows your most recent 10 flights on that route (I want to see them all)
- On a flight page, it would be great if it told you if you've flown on that tail number before (or showed the recent flights you've had on that tail)
- I fly on some asian airlines that don't reliably publish their tail numbers in a way that flighty can find it, it would be great if I could manually enter the tail number just like I can enter a seat number.
- A screen to explore the routes you've traveled on would be amazing
- I like the flat map projections offered in the "passport" view, do you think you could do anything like that but constrain it to certain regions (e.g. NA, South East Asia, Europe). There are many small countries in SEA that I've flown to and you can't really see the map due to the high density of the airport dots. If the whole screenspace was available then it would be more meaningful.

Also I want to say that flighty has been great for having my back. When I'm running late to the airport I use flighty's add flight tool to enter my start and destination and can see all the flights today, so if I need to change flights I already know which flight number I want before I get to the checkin counter.

Can you elaborate on how to do that?

This app is beautiful but pretty much useless if you want to track more obscure flights. I flew FlyBondi from Buenos Aires to Ushuaia and the flight is not being found. Honestly it’s a big surprise because most of the platforms have no issues with that. Also being able to manually add the flight in that case should be a must, it really puzzles me why this hasn’t been done yet.

Oh and forwarding flights doesn’t work. Constant error that email is not confirmed (it obviously is). Great UI, sucks that functionality is subpar.

It would certainly be a welcome feature.

I tried entering some past flights and only got back a couple of years before I ran up against a brick wall: BA flights to/from the former TXL airport weren't found. Not really obscure.

Grew up flying consistently every year overseas for leisure, have a couple dozens already filed into myFR24.

Any chance I could pay specifically for adding past flights? I could care less about the power-user feature during flights as I only fly a twice a year during school breaks where I'd pay weekly. Instead, I'd love to have a comprehensive record in one place and am happy to paying for it a la carte.

Click add flight but instead of typing a flight number, type your starting airport (e.g. BOS). Then type in your destination (direct flights only) like DTW. Then you can select the date (like today) and it'll show all the flights going from BOS to DTW today and you can hide codeshare flights (you'll still see the flight from the operating carrier) or show codeshares.

If you've already entered the flight you're worried about not making, you can just use the "Alternatives" tab.

You don't have to try obscure. Anything outside US seems to be not working properly. I have been tracking some flights today (it's supposed to be free) and the information lack for basic things is quite everywhere. e.g. for basic airports like BRU or DUS no gate or delay information? I won't even comment on the lack of registrations until after the a/c has started (do you fetch FR24 data for this?). Which is a pity given the nice UI.

I did a trial, and while Flighty wins on how beautiful the interface is, and not having all the extra stuff I don't care about (like booking a hotel), it loses to App in the Air in basically all metrics. App in the Air is getting all the delays and baggage claim info faster than Flighty for my flights (although usually very marginally faster for baggage. I am talking about a 1-5 minute difference, so no difference in practice), and there's just generally more information available when flying outside the US.

Sadly I’m having the same issues. Pro user trying to add past flights to Berlin Tegel and SX without luck. Is there a fix in the works ? Driving me crazy not seeing them in the little world map.

I love this app but anyone knows if it's possible to change the "place of issue" thing in the flighty passport? I suspect the current logic is to assign the airport where you fly most as the place of issue, but it would be fantastic iff we can edit it.
For my case I flew a particular airport quite a lot but that airport isn't where I actually based in. Maybe not something very useful and meaningful but would love to change it to my home country/city.
