My renewal went through this month and for the first time I've been charged "value added tax" (at the correct rate for digital supplies to my country of residence, Germany).

Just posting so that others based in the EU are ready for a higher charge than they've seen in the past.

I was also surprised to suddenly see this when I checked my EF account a couple of weeks back.

I found a workaround. HA seatmaps still work, so you can set the alert on the HA codeshare of whatever your AS flight is.

P.S. I just tested this by setting an alert on my own seat, changing it, and starting a timer. It was 11 hours before the alert arrived! This is for a flight 10 days away. This is worse performance than I expected for a service I pay for. 11 hours seems like a pretty low frequency for a flight coming up so soon.

BA Availability
 
ExpertFlyer Voice Do you have any planned fixes for BA upgrades/awards? It's been sorely missed for a long time. If it's possible, I suggest adding point of sale too. BA has separate availability for different account's country. Thanks a mil!

Unfortunately not 100% up to us. BA does not make this type of data available anymore. Will DM regarding POS.

So I tried submitting feedback for the beta through the feedback button (which I've done a few times before but never heard anything back) and today the submit button on the feedback screen doesn't seem to do anything. I can only cancel it. I m am on my phone. So here's my feedback from today.

I did a schedule search BOS-ORF and checked the 7 day box for direct flights only. I see two issues here:
  1. It is showing me connecting flights as well as the non-stop flights
  2. The filter screen is showing all the connecting airports in the "depart" and "arrive" section as well as in the connecting section. The old website is, correctly, only showing the ultimate departure and arrival airports in those sections, although admittedly for some reason it also shows connecting flights when the 7 day box is checked.

Another potential un-subscriber here. I got my renewal notification email yesterday and was all set to turn it off. Came here just to see if any signs of life had appeared. It looks like I also will give it one more year and see how things go. Thanks.

How do sites like SeatSpy do it? I know they don't have the right granularity (it's by day, not by flight), is that why you can't do it?
