Seat maps not working for Swiss (LX) nor Lufthansa (LH).

Contacted support and also flipped my account to "no renewal" until this is fixed.

So.... I had left my account in "no renewal" because I had other reasons to cancel.

Then today I get an email that my account renewed for another year.

I have contacted support to have it reversed, but if you think your account is set to "no renewal" you might want to double check that it still is.

EDIT: support cancelled and refunded immediately 👍

Beginning this morning (Japan time), JL seat maps are very glitchy. Some seats are now showing as lavatories, seats that aren't blocked are showing as blocked, and some occupied seats are showing as blocked. (The seat that I have on an upcoming flight is now showing as blocked instead of occupied.)

ExpertFlyer Voice , glad you are here. What is being done to upgrade EF? What plans are there for the future?

A couple of things we're working on in the short-term:
1. Bring back text alerts
2. Improve our mobile experience
3. Simplify the search for upgrade inventory (ie SWUs on AA, etc)

If you have additional feedback on how we can make EF more useful, please share!

Related to item 2, please add the ability to save queries from the mobile version. Thanks and welcome back.

One thing that becomes more and more important (and critical sometimes) is taking into account point of origin in availability searches. I don't have a solution unfortunately, in GDS POI seems to be only taken into account when an availability search is requested from an existing confirmed booking file.
However, i am sure there is a way to model this via APIs etc.
As a side note: this fact stands behind many discrepancies in availability that people complain about (but not all of course).

Also married segments availability alerts is something the previous team was never able to develop. Might be something simple for the new EF Team.

Thanks in advance!

A super quick hot fix would be on TK fares and maybe availability too. TK has stopped publishing inventory in Sabre but the inventory should be available in secondary GDSs that EF is using. Please add a switch to secondary GDS when TK fares and availability is requested.

Currently the trick to see TK fares in EF is to specify more than one airline one of which is TK (ie force/ trick EF to use secondary GDS). But why should people invent a wheel? Thanks!

I'd like to second the married pair availability alerts as they do currently only seem to be looking at the single segment level and ignore the married segments.

It would be great to have more alerts created automatically or with much of the information pre-filled. For example, if one creates a seat alert, there is a button to create an aircraft change alert that does not prompt users to again enter flight info. How about another button so flight schedule alerts are automatically created?

now, since a large segment of the population flys round trip, how about a button to automatically reverse the origin and destination, keeping same airline, and allowing us to just enter the new flight number?
