Looks like Amazon released an iPad version of Prime Instant Videos. I loaded it this weekend, but haven't tried it yet.

Maybe we need a FlyerTalk team. then again, if you can't tell east from west... maybe we shouldn't be on the same team. ;) :P

This app rocks. it instantly unlocked value for my amazon prime membership, which was sadly lacking with the iPad. However my productivity dropped.
If they allowed you to download Prime videos that would be life-changing. |
Been playing with Flow Free, seriously addicting.

Hey guys!
We have just developed the app for all travelers and we would love to say a little bit about it. Have you seen “Lost in Translation” movie? The one with Bill Murray playing a man in business trip in Tokio, Japan. Do you remember all the difficulties he faced with Japanese language? Not knowing where to go, what’s the best place to spend time or just have a snack? Well we are two Russian friends who do hate all this problems. That’s why when we were stuck in Tel-Aviv not knowing a word in Hebrew, we sat down at the hotel room for several hours and built a simple applications for our needs. It’s pretty simple - you open the app, see all the venues from Foursquare nearby, open the venues’ list of users’ tips and then just tap the tip to translate it to your language. It was built to be easy and pretty simple for us to use it - and to benefit from local people’s secrets and preferences. For example the app already saved us money - thanks to it we revealed the way to get 10% discount at cafés if you choose to sit at the bar desk. So we hope that you will find it very useful while being abroad and choosing the best place to spend time at. Well at least we do - we are now at Berlin and we discovered a few very impressing venues thanks to Tips Translated. You can get more info about the app at the website: http://tipstranslated.com The app is free and we give several translation points for start so you can fully try it. But as we really love the community here in flyertalk we chose to give several promotion codes for you. Each code will work only once, so choose the first available. Here is the list of codes: flyertalk1 flyertalk2 flyertalk3 flyertalk4 flyertalk5 You need to open tips list and then long tap on the number of points and then enter the promo code. Waiting for your opinion about our app! |
is there a particular reason it requires iOS 5.1? (I know most people will be on 5.1, but just wondering if there are particular features that need it, or if you could tweak the project setting so your potential audience isn't limited)

We are currently working on it and the next update will lower the iOS required level to 4.0 version - I can notify you as soon as it releases if you want. I also sent a personal promocode for you with a privat message. |

101-in-1 Games HD. Installed it on ipad last week and find it oddly fun, but also aggravating. They are little games with NO instructions. I am a grown-up (with a Master's degree) and can't believe how proud I am when I finally figure out what needs to be done. On the other hand, I would really love to find a cheat sheat to help me with some of them. Crossed Threads for instance...
