yeah - it's a pain and nothing can be done about it. It's been that way since forever... and no amount of writing in of feedback to the crew (with the hope they raise it with head office) every seems to be able to change the 2.5 hour rule.

I'd like to see some sort of express breakfast option.

Correct! I was actually referring to the back C class section on LH, Y on TG... Should have clarified. I flew in LH C not long after the tragic tsunami ex-NRT and the flight was half empty... They closed down whole sections of the aircraft as a result.

Cheers,

Did HKG-BKK on 11/4. I have to say the hard product was phenomenal. I'd flown CX F the day before and definitely place this above them. The bathroom was just gigantic and I thought the seat was very comfortable. Agree with the soft product being a bit green and in need of refinement, but that's just a result of it being so new.

Ha, nice pick up there. I was talking about the main seat, but the toilet looked comfy as well.

I'm still seeing A380 on HKGBKK in February on the schedule... I thought it was slated to end 12/14?

I thought only SIN was ending in December.

Anyway the A380 to Paris due to start in February has been delayed: http://airlineroute.net/2012/11/15/tg-cdg-feb13/

I am planning to book BKK-CDG in May - is there reason to believe that the A380 could be further delayed? I could opt for BKK-FRA instead, which would be safer A380 wise, I suppose. However, award availability is much better to CDG.

Nope. I have a booking on that route in FEB and it has been scheduled in my itinerary as an A380 for months.

Hi NickB. With TG, you are never sure until you board the plane

Indeed but the OP merely asked about what was scheduled and there has been an A380 scheduled on BKK-HKG in Feb13 for some time.
As to what will actually be flown, well, we all know that even crystal balls are useless with TG.

If it's not an A380, I can always hope for either an A300 or A340-500, and I'll be happy too

But looking at Flightradar24, this route has only has 2 TG-subs to a 744 (probably mx) otherwise everything is been flown with the 380 so far.

Same concern for me. As they have completely removed it from the Winter 12/13 schedule, I think we will have to wait for the Summer 2013 schedule before we know what date the A380 will be serving that route from.

Is BKK-CDG meant to be the the third or the fourth A380?
