There is a Hyatt sub-forum for everything related to SLH, benefits, reviews, etc...
https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/small-luxury-hotels-slh-772/
would be nice if the forum would get a boost Cheers 59Impala
Paid stays are 10%+ cheaper if booked as an SLH member on its website. It, also, includes continental breakfast. (note from @59impala. I paid a 30% premium for The Plymouth Southbeach.) (antonius66 I observed 10-30% premiums for 2 hotels in Portugal over SLH direct, closer to 50% over OTAs)
A limited number of reviews of SLH properties may be found in the Other Hotel Chains Forum.
World of Hyatt members can earn 5 Base Points for every $1 USD spent on qualifying room rates and can redeem points for free nights at participating SLH hotels. It doesn't stop there, members can also enjoy exclusive in-hotel benefits when staying at a participating SLH hotel.
Complimentary continental breakfast for two
Complimentary Wi-Fi
Early check-in 12:00pm (based on availability at check-in)
Late check-out 2:00pm (based on availability at check-in)
One category room upgrade (based on availability at check-in)

Amex & Concur: Does it count count as stay credit?
Hyatt web sites terms state that SLH needs to be booked at hyatt.com to receive stay credit and benefits so I know SLH.com doesn't work.
At my work it's easier for expense reports to book through Concur. Concur allows me to enter my membership numbers into my profile and has posted points/credit for Marriott, IHG, and each airline program.
Does anyone have any direct experience to know if booking SLH in Concur counts as stay credit for Hyatt?
All my best... TravelGuy..

This still remains of only very minor value to me. Looked at doing 2 four nights stays in Portugal in December. Two solid SLH choices, one in Lisbon and one in Porto...the Lisbon choice is about 170 USD on Hyatt site, and the Porto choice is 220 USD on Hyatt site. With zero effort, I can book on any number of OTAs for 110 for the Lisbon and 150 for the Porto. Even if I book the fully refundable options (both already include BF like Hyatt does) they are still like 120 and 180. The SLH website is even 145 USD and 163 respectively. Just cannot justify spending 20-50% more to book identical hotels through Hyatt. Until they actually make this a real partnership, for now it is just a way for me to very rarely use some points at some unique options, like Santorini. Disappointing. I could use the Hyatt nights and points, but for what I would waste booking through them I lose more than the value of the nights/points. I just cannot see how this is driving any real business. Are people really that price insensitive and/or blind?

I agree. I'm staying at the Excelsior in Thessaloniki this fall. I priced it thru Hyatt and then directly. It was cheaper to book directly. I suppose being a member of SLH and aligned with Hyatt, I paid it more attention than if not. But still, I'd like comparable prices whether I book on the SLH site or the Hyatt site.

I'm planning to stay at Ambassador in Zurich next spring, looking forward too it. Cash Price seemed better than points. I love that Hyatt has added these great hotels

Same here. There are some SLH properties where redeeming points is decent value, but for cash I have yet to find one. I am willing to pay up to 10% more via Hyatt.com for the value of points but above 10% I am out. What I found for a large number of properties is that the premium you need to pay on Hyatt.com is 15% or more. This is disappointing.

With chain wide promos and the 10k for 10 nights Milestone bonus, along with the standard 10-11% rebate from points as a Globalist, you can easily find the value once you get into autumn...

A premium is disappointing of course. But ultimately it's a price that can make sense for picking up elite nights in Europe without going back to the same ole Hyatts...

Good point about the milestone bonus 10k for 10 nights, so 1k of value per night on average (= a bit under $20); unless you project to finish the year above 100 nights then no milestone bonus to consider in the equation, unfortunately.
If there is a chain-wide promo then it can change how much of a premium I would be willing to pay, assuming SLH is not excluded from the promo. It also depends also if it's a stay-based promo or double points or something like that.
Everybody is in a different situation, but all things considered since I don't really "need" the extra night credits then it remains a venue to burn points and I have not found as much use for SLH so far as what I would have liked given the attractive portfolio of SLH properties. If the price differential shrinks, my view and my optimism will change considerably!

It does add amazing redemption options if you know where to look - especially in Europe. Hyatt basically had no beach/family resort redemption options in Europe, now there are quite a few. When I redeem points "earned on business travel", it's for these leisure stays. So I am very happy with this.
