This thread gives the current catering options for the Galleries First Lounge (Flounge) in LHR Terminals 3 and 5. This lounge is open to BAEC Gold and oneworld Emerald card holders. Passengers flying BA on a First ticket can also use the Concorde Room. The catering supplier was changed on 2 May 2013 to BaxterStorey. Click here to see the former thread, which covered that turbulent period.

The T3 lounge is identical to T5 in terms of food and drink options. However there is no Concorde Room in T3 so from 18:30 hrs there is a pre-flight dining option for First travellers, see here for more details.

The current catering options in the First lounge can be found in the first post in the thread, or you can click here. Currently lounge menus are not always on display in the lounge, but this link may be your best bet to see the options.

It hadn't as of 10 and 4 days ago, sadly. I was told it was a stock issue but they didn't know when it might be back, or if.

It seems to be changing a bit, as the fizz menu in the CCR a few days ago differs to what is on offer today, too.

As far as the reds go, probably no one had ordered it and as you remark; no one could care less. Vile.
Having been through GF quite a bit lately I couldnt agree more. I think that the food selection looks completely unappetising and lacklustre, particularly in the evenings. It had seemed to be getting better for a bit but now we seem to be back to school canteen levels.

Does anyone from BA management ever go into the lounges and maybe have a look at what they have on offer?

Yes, there were 2 young suits today surveying the lounge. I chuckled as he was talking about the great changes they had made recently and how well received they were.

which just about sums up BAs arrogance and the internal thought that their lacklustre lounge offering and product they offer is the be all and end all of all things aviation. Its crazy and I sometimes think someone needs to take BA managers by the elbow to a quiet corner in a dark room to have a re-look at their medication.

So the sparkling wine offerings today include most things:

The Balfour rose is quite nice.

Food today looks OK:

Their tendency to hire graduates and turn them into lifers is admirable in some ways but it does mean that BA has a management class that simply isn't that familiar with other airlines' products and ways of doing it (even Colm Lacy has been there for about 30 years). If your only experience of premium air travel is BA on staff travel, then you probably think it's quite good!

But then surely it makes it even more important to listen to customer feedback?

I can assure you it's very much the light in the pics; it's perfectly normal rose colour.

I did have a second glance, though; like 'HAVE THEY CHANGED IT AGAIN?!'
