This thread gives the current catering options for the Galleries First Lounge (Flounge) in LHR Terminals 3 and 5. This lounge is open to BAEC Gold and oneworld Emerald card holders. Passengers flying BA on a First ticket can also use the Concorde Room. The catering supplier was changed on 2 May 2013 to BaxterStorey. Click here to see the former thread, which covered that turbulent period.

The T3 lounge is identical to T5 in terms of food and drink options. However there is no Concorde Room in T3 so from 18:30 hrs there is a pre-flight dining option for First travellers, see here for more details.

The current catering options in the First lounge can be found in the first post in the thread, or you can click here. Currently lounge menus are not always on display in the lounge, but this link may be your best bet to see the options.

I tried a burger last week and was genuinely surprised to find it quite moist and enjoyable. I expected it to be dry as wood. I'd have it again.

had the chicken curry and it was decent.

Also liked the candy trolley at the entrance - until a "gentleman" cut in line, and used his fingers to grab a handful of candy from the jar.

A woman using tongs (and me, standing next in line) both simultaneously said "don't use your fingers!"

He replied " I just washed my hands" (sure you did) and then walked away, eating his prize.

not sure if it is new. It's just inside the check in desks, on the left.

unfortunately, no wrapped candies. Just a dozen glass "cookie" jars filled with assorted candy, tongs, and paper bags for take away

it appeared a few months back. There was no wrapped candy when I saw it last, gross about the guy using his fingers too.

Sampled the "Burger" tonight. I could best describe it as something you would normally find in a provincial nightclub car park at kicking out time rather than a "premium" lounge.

Curry was decent, however I couldn't find any tubs of the Judges Ice Cream which was my peeve of the evening.

Pink Champagne and Negronis were of the usual standard thankfully.

I found the pre bottled negronis to be a bit meh. Did you manage to get a proper one or found some other way to enhance? Or did I get an off moment?

Fancy trying that. How long do these 'tastes' generally last for?

First time in for a while, went and got some food, put it on a table, and went to get a Coke Zero. Where are they? Yes, on the other side of the lounge near the first wing.

Food presentation a little better, but why do they only have chili and salt & vinegar crisps? Sometimes ready salted upstairs and at the B gates, but never seems to be any here (not that i wouldnt eat those flavours)..

I noticed soft drinks are now in fewer places, I'm sure they used to be on the terrace and in the dining area before as well?
