So you were also denied when you requested more than one dessert? I was hoping the previous report was just an isolated incident.

Love the beef ex-GRU. Presentation looks much better too. Looking forward to returning to Brazil this summer.

Obviously, “presentation” is in the eye of the beholder. I see nothing interesting about that in the photo above. I would have pushed that mushy looking green stuff (asparagus?) off to the side. A scoop of mashed potatoes (?) plopped on the plate. The plate is about 50% white space. The meal might have tasted perfectly fine, but, … presentation? 😂😂😂

I am horrified by the presentation of the "new" shortrib vs the old one - the old version is appealing across the board, while the new version is just a mess. I thought June was suppose to be the start of improvements?

MUC-IAD on 8 June. Although the FAs were friendly, there were numerous service failures. To start, it took two reminders and 90 minutes to get a replacement for a headset that was already broken in the bag.
Pre-departure beverage (on request) was "champagne", water, or orange juice. About 45 minutes after takeoff was served almonds that were cold by the time they reached me. At least they were nicely salted. The actual champagne served after takeoff was Nicolas Feuillatte. Note the small pour.

No menus. The FA took meal orders (supposedly beef short ribs, chicken, halibut, and some veggie option) but somehow lost it and had to take them again. I ordered the beef, which was really a well-done petite fillet. The entree was barely warm and portion size was very small. Note the absence of the bread - when I asked if I could have some bread, she said she must have forgotten. How does that even happen? She came back with a cold pretzel roll.

For dessert, the FA asked if I wanted cheese or ice cream with strawberry topping. I chose the later, but it turned out to be white strawberry mouse (?) that tasted synthetic. I asked another FA whether they had any ice cream and he said no, it wasn't loaded.

Pre-arrival meal was a choice of the hamburger wellington or what I chose, the couscous plate. It was quite good, and the fresh fruit was excellent.

Herein lies the challenge with the multi-course service and the plating of entrees … with staffing levels still at the Pandemic level (and UA wanting to permanently keep them there), the plating is going to vary hugely (as we are already seeing here, basically thrown in a bowl due to limited time) and long waits for initial beverage and a refill.
