The 350 first time bonus is kind of misleading. You don't get it just by signing up. You have to complete all the offer they give you when you first sign up to get the full 350. That means, you not only have to complete the surveys, but you have to sign up for the Brad's Deals newsletter, you have to request the free Tempurpedic sample and the free Disney Vacation DVD.

You must be thinking of some other site. I have never heard of those things on e-Rewards.

I also have only heard the airlines giving 250 miles if you sign up through them. And you can do that straight away even if you have no e-Rewards cash in your acct. If you signed up through a company that offered 350 bonus points then click on rewards, then click on the company you signed up through and there will be an option to claim a zero dollar award.

What is no where to be found? I don't understand your question.

What company offered you the 350 bonus points? e-Rewards does not offer bonus points. Only the companies that are referring you to e-Rewards offer the bonuses.

From my experience, you must redeem the 350 bonus miles yourself from the e-rewards site. They did not come automatically.

No, I didn't abuse the service in any way, but I went about 2-3 full weeks with nothing from e-rewards (no emails, no surveys) and then bam, a few days ago, like 2-4 surveys a day from them. I was beginning to give up!

it was an offer from southwest rapid rewards. The 350 mile redemption is nowhere to be found.

Ril Jaa follow these steps and you will locate the reward. Login to e-Rewards and at the top click on "Rewards" and then click on Southwest,

I did this recently with an AA bonus. So once you get to the reward redemption page for Southwest the very first reward should be for 0.00 dollars. I don't remember exactly how the page looked. But this 0.00 dollar award does not carry the normal e-Rewards restrictions like not being able to redeem from the same company within 90 days. You can redeem with Southwest again tomorrow if you have enough money to redeem.

Anyway that is how it works. If there is no 0.00 reward to redeem I don't know what to tell you. It has happened for me with AA, and others I know have done it for AA and AS.

On my account, after going through the initial surveys (not the actual surveys, my account still says $0.00), I would click on rewards, click on MileagePlus, and I would see a link to redeem 250 New account FREE MP miles. I would need an additional $25 of surveys to redeem for another 500 miles. Don't plan on doing them.

On my gf's account, after going through the initial surveys, clicking on rewards -> MileagePlus, and nothing. No 250 free MP miles to redeem. I suspect they see the same IP address and therefore shutting her off!

Initially I signed up for this program thinking I can use this E-rewards and E-miles for UA and AA to gain some points here and there, but from reading this forum seems like most everyone is redeeming Hilton and Hertz. Is there a reason for that?

HH used to be a good value and Hertz is still a good value. Also there are other sources for UA (UR, Hotel points etc.) and AA (Diners, Hotel points transfer etc.) miles but HH and Hertz don't have so many sources. At least that is what I feel. Regardless u should redeem for what makes best sense to your situation as everybody has different needs.

If you have Hilton @ 7,000 per $100 that seems like a good way to redeem your points. However I believe the Hertz points are the best "bang" for your buck- but only redeem for what you require. I redeem for AA, UA, Iberia & Priority Club... all dependent on my next award redemption!

I agree completely. I personally plan on redeeming my next batch for La Quinta points, which I normally wouldn't do, but I have about 6,000 LQ points just sitting and expiring at the end of this year so this will let me get enough for an award night somewhere and call it a day with LQ. Each situation is different so it's better to redeem based on your travel plans. My go-to redemption all things being equal is Club Carlson.
