The "catch" is that some awards now need 25% more points. $100 e-reward points used to buy 7K Hilton points. Now it takes $125 e-reward points to get 7K points.

After a month or more with this outfit, I can tell you the payback is strictly not worth it. Unless you value your time very low.
And, so far, they are overdue giving me my reward (requested over 2 months ago) and they are NOT RESPONSIVE to emails.
Anyone else experiencing this? Is there a number to call? Please advise!

I have had great experiences with earning and using E-Rewards. I have redeemed about $200 per year with them for 6 or 7 years running. The points usually show up in the account that I want them transferred to within an hour or two tops. And they have always replied to my emails
They are responsive to my emails usually. Never have non-reply, but sometimes takes a bit longer.
So far I say they are good to us.

I'm frustrated at the moment with E-rewards.
I was most of the way through a survey commissioned by the supermarket chain where I shop most. That chain is considering changing its marketing and promotions schemes and I actually wanted to complete the survey so that my responses would help the chain to decide to make the changes in a way most beneficial to me. But then I got the error message posted below and it stopped me dead in my tracks. I e-mailed E-rewards to let them know about it -- first time I have ever done so, despite having been a member for many years. I'll see what the response is.

I've usually had good experience with their CS too - once I was unsatisfied and once I had trouble getting a response, but far more often they have put things right. Including one of those almost done then technical answers.
Not perfect, but much better than others I have tried.

Just wanted to jump into this thread. I been with E-rewards for about 6 years now, and certainly enjoyed redeeming this currency for different awards. Hilton Honors was one of my favourites for a while. But now I feel that Hertz $60 for 500 points maybe a hidden gem here. Sorry if others already opined on this matter.
2,500 Hertz points gets you a car for 1 week, and it is incredibly easy to get Gold Level with Hertz for free (just search FT threads), that essentially guarantees a full size vehicle for 1 week for 300 E-rewards points. In some markets (i.e. Hawaii or NYC or SFO) that could be several hundreds of $US. Anyway, just a thought, is anyone else redeeming their e-rewards currency for Hertz?
Cheers,
PedroNY

Just to add to this:
* My last transfer to Hertz took 5 days (11/4/12 - 11/9/12).
* And yes, I've been pushing my e-rewards over to Hertz lately. We are going to Honolulu next month and we are renting 4 days spaced out over the week. With the remaining taxes, it is a bit over $7/day for a Hertz local rental and a bit over $12 from the airport. I booked 1 month before and had no problem getting standard awards and have had no problem tweaking the pickup times (one I pushed back to the night before) after the original booking.

Hertz is easily the the best option there. The dollar value of the priority club and hilton, along with the airline redemptions is somehting like $30-45 max, for something that would require atleast 3 or 4 hours worth of time. Is there anyone here who is really earning less than $10 an hour?
