I think HH points are often undervalued on FT. I can easily get over a cent per point for international AXON redemptions, so actually I collect about $200-$300 cash value out of these surveys each year. But the real point is, you can do them simultaneously while you're pretendin to work at your actual job, which makes it seem like you're getting paid big bucks to do these surveys regardless of your redemption choice And it makes the workday go faster.

I agree with you here. I've found the AXON redemptions yield tremendous values at some great top Category locations, and easily pass the $300-$400/night value.

Let's see - August 2012 to January 2013 - just about 5 months along with multiple requests, numerous non-committal responses from e-rewards (we are investigating and will let you know asap - yeh, right) and nearly a write-off of any hope of getting them EVER.

NYC market is excluded from point redemption. Anywhere else, I generally found standard (not anytime) availability is hard to find in major metro markets.

Lately, within a week. When they first offered the reward a year or so ago, I had to contact e-rewards to get it. I haven't had a problem since on mine or my husband's account.

Or, as I have pointed out before, there's real value at the other end on occasion: If you're going to the Four Corners area during high season, you can pay $200+ at the very nice Hampton Inn in Farmington, or get it for almost free with a $100 $125 redemption. Or if you have to be in Dallas or Ft. Worth on a night whenever everything is sky-high, the 7500 point Hampton Inn in Mansfield is a bargain.

That's a fair point, you guys are right, the AXON is a good value (assuming it still exists)

Erewards redemption for Hhonors lag time

Redeemed $100 for 7K Hhonors points over 2 hours ago (got email fulfillment confirmation from erewards) yet no points have credited to Hhonors account. In the past the redemption took place in the wink of an eye. Has anyone else noticed any lag time, days, weeks, months?

Yes, I did the same redemption about a month ago, and it took about a day for the points to appear. And so I also worried that something was wrong. I wonder if, somehow, that longer lag time is related to why e-rewards raised the redemption rate for most members. Maybe what used to be an automated process is now a manual process and e-rewards is trying to recover the cost of an employee's time.

When I read the posts about people getting their Hertz rewards posted so quickly, I shake my head and wonder if these are all just "fake posts" from eRewards themselves. Then I see how many posts you people have made so I reckon you are legit.

Still, I am really disappointed that it is taking *me* so long to get what is due to me. I wonder if anyone knows what the recourse is if they do not provide the reward after 3 or 4 months? State attorney general? Any ideas?

Did you write to E-rewards customer service? That's all I had to do to get mine taken care of.

I just redeemed on Monday and still don't have the points in my Hertz account, so it is possible they have slowed it down just a bit. My last redemption, from my husband's account, showed up within a week.

This post made me curious, so I looked at my Hertz account and found the 500 points had been added in the last day or so.

No, they are not fake posts. I've redeemed e-rewards to Hertz 4 times and it always took less than a week. Then I tried another account at the end of 2012 and they have not arrived yet. First, it says "Offer open to U.S. and Canadian residents only." I hadn't seen that. Second, I've been receiving e-mails that they are closing the Hertz #1 Club and transitioning to Hertz Gold Plus Rewards. It may have something to do with that.

I redeemed for Hertz on 2/15 and the points were there when I checked this morning, so another data point for ~1 week turnaround.

i did on feb 20th and it already posted february 23.

Question: Has anyone tried redeeming the Hertz points more than once in a calender quarter? The E-rewards T&C says you can only do once every calender quarter, but is it really enforced?

I've tried to when I couldn't remember if I had redeemed, and it stopped me almost immediately and said to wait until the next quarter.
