Another survey wasted good 10 minutes of my time before advising me they've had enough participants. I'm getting to $100 (close to $80 now) and canceling the damn thing. This is just beyond ridiculous.

It can be frustrating! Two days ago I had an $8 survey that went on and on about financial info - and I provided a lot of information before it finally said no go. I was pretty upset.

But then yesterday (as if to make up) I received a $12 survey I was able to finish (also financial) and it put me over my $100 mark.

So as frustrating as it gets, as long as I can still do two $100 redemption's a year (which is what I have been doing) I'm going to hang in there.

I usually like E-Rewards. I just redeemed $100 for Choice Privileges, which I will redeem for WN RR points. This will be the second time I have done this. First time was in order to top up my WN account for a free reward flight.

Now if you were to ask me about Opinion Outpost, that is another story. i just cancelled my membership, as I never qualify, after spending way too much time answering questions, only to be told I am not a good candidate.

That is definitely the issue. I'm a bit of computer numpty but have googled ways round this. As this is the only time I have a problem with my IP address not being in the US (at least at the moment), I don't really want to download anything and it seems that proxify.com should solve the problem - except that when I put the e-rewards survey website address into proxify all I get is a bunch of numbers (ie I can't make it work). Does anyone know what I am doing wrong or have any other easy solution?

Email them and tell them exactly what happened. They need to get feedback to weed out survey companies that are apparently trying to get information for next to nothing.

Last year I spent 25 minutes answering detailed questions about a specific medication, only to reach the demographic questions at the very end where I was rejected with "sorry, we have enough responses from your group. Here's your .25 cents." I was spitting mad when I emailed E-rewards, and they not only credited me with the full amount, but said they would look into this survey company's practises.

Sometimes it pays to complain.

Points expiring , which redemption option is best value ?

Hi Folks,

I have 4000 opinion points in my e-rewards account..
Out of those, about 2000 are expiring July end and hence I want to redeem those..
I am a member of EK Skywards and Priority club points .
I can redeeem 2000 points for 200 skywards points or 3000 points for 1000 PC points..
Which is better value ?

Thanks
Abhi

I've now tried hidemyass.com where I get a "HTTP 404 Not Found" error. Does anyone else have any good ideas or do I give this up as a bad job? It's not worth paying anything for this as it's just e-rewards that is the problem....

You can search in google for "US free proxy"...
Here for example there is a list of proxies, choose one that works for you (lower half are free, CoDeeN does not work for me). Downside is that from time to time they disappear or get overloaded, so you have to search again. Don't know if it is worth the trouble.

I did that last time a similar thing happened, and they just responded with a canned email how they are trying to improve, etc.

That's the view I am coming around to (excuse the split infinitive!).

foxberg, could you please provide some detail on how this promotion worked, and when it was last offered? Thanks.

Somewhat new to e-rewards, however I just spent a long time doing a survey, after the first 10 minutes it said I was approved to take the survey and qualified to take it and receive 8.50 for taking it. after finishing the survey (30 minutes) it said thank you and your acct. will be credited.. however it wasn't. Does this happen often with e-rewards?

It doesn't always credit immediately - they normally do, but some take a few days. It should show up.

Sometime last year PCR offered double points for partners activities. e-Rewards was one of them. You could redeem for PCR points and PCR would double it. Some say it was a targeted promo. It took a few months and few phone calls but I got it. So far I have around $1200 in ER money. Still waiting. If nothing else, this would buy me Platinum until the end of 2013 if I redeem next year (we are both Platinum until the end of 2012).

A new wrinkle to add to the litany of e-rewards complaints....

Last Sunday I received an invitation to do a 15 minute consumer survey for $4.00. So I took the survey and finished it. The credit came right away, but it was only for $3.00! So I emailed e-rewards and asked them where the fourth dollar was. So far no response.

So from now on I am keeping closer watch on what is promised and what is actually delivered. I could have been shorted in the past and never known it.
