AMEX MR link
It is probably a misconception or because of poorly executed transfers. Just last week, I have successfully transferred AMEX MR points to the SPG account of a person who was not an additional cardholder. He had a different last name too.

Not true at all. Any acct can be linked to an Amex MR acct for transfer. Just need the relevant personal info requested at time of linking.

I've recently signed up with e-rewards and have had 5 invitations to do surveys, the last 11 minutes ago. Every one has said the opportunity has already expired (including the one 11 minutes ago) when I click on it. Is it always this way?

This is an ongoing problem, started when they tried to localize your IP for certain partners, it was fixed for a while, but it's happening again. It's an ok program when it works, and you get surveys frequently...Another issue you might encounter is surveys are cut short after spending 10-20mins on them and you only get partial credit.

Posting time to Continental?
Any recent experience concerning posting of e-rewards to Continental? My transaction initiated nearly two week ago has not posted. Earlier reports in this forum indicated points posting over a Tuesday or within a week. If that is still the trend, some action may be needed on my part (to contact e-rewards).

I redeemed for Hertz points on 5/31, and while the website says 6-8 weeks to post, my experience with other redemptions is that it is usually very fast.
I still don't see anything in my Hertz account.
Anyone else redeem and have the poinst yet?

Not sure most folks here have much interest in this, but the Blockbuster awards will no longer be available after June 30, 2011

I also believe that with all this penny-pinching silliness their service is totally useless to their corporate clients, since the respondents will just lie in their answers trying to guess which answer will NOT get them disqualified.

Non-US IP addresses get this. Use a proxy, there are many free proxy services out there.

Wasted effort
Recently I got e mails for surveys, but after I answered 3 pages of questions was told i did not qualify and received a measly 25 cents.
Is it the state of residence ol my age that gets me kicked off?

My account no longer shows the amount that expires at the end of my annual year. Is this new or a temporary mistake? (I've been a member for 11 years.)

Same here and my membership ends June 30th. I just sent an email to Member Services. I will report back once I receive a reply.
Here it is: "You were selected as a member of our Preferred Research Panel based on your participation in the e-Rewards program during the preceding year. As a result, we waived our usual currency expiration rules for you and the e-Rewards currency that you earned as of June 30th was rolled over into this membership year.
We'll review your program participation and profile on your anniversary date June 30th and let you know if you re-qualify for Preferred Research Panel membership. If you re-qualify, your status as a member of the Preferred Research Panel may be extended for another year and the expiration date for e-Rewards currency you have earned would be extended for an additional membership year. Should you not re-qualify, your e-Rewards currency will be subject to expire on August 1, 2011.
