They're giving away a I-Pad every day this month. Enter by clicking on an email link for a survey or the "next' button on a rejection from a survey or I think the list on your survey offers on the E-Rewards site.

Now that's a pleasant surprise. If anyone wins who uses FlyerTalk, let us know! Curious how winners are notified -- whether email or phone or mail (e.g., sent an iPad with a congratulations note out of the blue; talk about a surprise care package).

Airline redemption options when joining via Hilton?

Can anyone who has joined e-rewards recently though Hilton HHonors provide any information about the airline and/or other travel redemption options available? Specfically, I was hoping to find out whether USAirways is an option. Thanks!

Can you change the name on the erewards account to redeem an award and then change it back to the original name?

As has been posted here by myself and others (i.e. see post #486), yes.

Data point: Received the following offer via email this morning:

"As a Hilton HHonors member, we're extending an exclusive invitation to you to join the e-Rewards Opinion Panel and earn valuable Rewards, including HHonors Bonus Points, just for participating in surveys that are prescreened to match your interests.

Enroll today and receive 500 Hilton HHonors Bonus Points* when you complete your first survey within 45 days."
Haven't really ever known about e-Rewards until now #latetothegame

Well it happened again: Responded to an invitation for a survey and completed an entire 11 questions -- detailed, survey-like questions -- before getting booted out. Those questions were definitely more probing than just qualification questions. I'm losing patience with this pattern of e-Rewards allowing marketing clients to get away with that; it makes e-Rewards look slimy.

...And yes, I'd gladly tell customer service about it but I've done so other times and although they're nice about crediting, I'd begin to look nagging or petty if I emailed each and every time this happened. So much for fixin' patterns.

Are they waiving the expiration clause now? Many of mine were set to expire on May 1st but now the expiration announcement is gone.

I never received an e-mail telling me about this great news.

The Account statement still says "Expiring on 01-May-2011: xxx"

E-rewards has extended the expiry date twice for me. Maybe they do this for everyone who is active enough.

If the expiration date is being extended, the date on your account won't change until May 1. Then it resets to the following year. In the past, my wife and I have each received an email about 30 days before expiration on our respective accounts telling us that the expiration date has been extended.

Not true with my acct. It used to say "$160 will expire May, 1st" (paraphrasing) and now it says nothing. This happened about 2 or 3 weeks ago. Nada. Maybe it will never expire. No email notice either.

I had that happen as well, after being invited to be a part of some Preferred Research Panel. The expiration date went away completely for a year, then came back just in time to receive a notice telling me that the expiration date had been extended for another year. It seems to defy logic.
