As far as I recall, the only welcome gift may have been a sign-up bonus of some amount of e-Rewards "cash." I've made redemptions in the past and have never seen this bonus reward before.

One of the accounts I registered for had a "welcome" bonus of 500 FC miles. I registered that through a PCR invite and also got some bonus PCR points.

I used that redemption option and received a confirmation email.
Got the same thing for Hilton Honors, which is what I signed up with. After I saw this post, I searched under Rewards and then Rewards by Company. This was under "Free 500 Bonus Points".

Do you mean that one of the entries in a pull down menu under the "rewards by company" was "Free 500 Bonus Points"? Or did you have to click on the HH to see this bonus?

Normally they do. If you sign through Alaskan invite, you'll have only Alaskan air and all other non-ailine partners (hotels and gift cards) available for redemption.

Lunardream, I had that same problem when I tried to access a British-based e-r account from the USA. I've heard from other FTers that when the country of IP address of the computer UR using is different from the country of the e-r account, it generates that 'expired' message.

Well, quite often it generates "expired" message for me too and I'm in US. They try to reply to me with this foreign IP solution crap. But they missed this time since I wasn't accessing those surveys from overseas. I replied and never heard from them again. Meanwhile, I completed a full survey on 09/02 for $12.00 and never had it posted. E-mailed twice. No reply yet.

***UPDATE***
I got an email today indicating that I was credited for that survey. Indeed, I got my $12.00 into the account.

Can we purchase credit?

I'm $0.70 away from the next threshold but I'm not sure if I'll get another survey before my points expire. Is there a way to make up the $0.70?

I believe if the invitation you accepted when you signed up was through an airline, you can only redeem into that airline's program.

two months ago, i emailed them about and then it worked, started getting all kinds of promos and stuff, then it went back again to the expiration process.....i don't think it has anything to do with the IP...I mean I can try masking my IP but then, i don't think that's the idea here...i've passed on like 30 promos by now for expiration crap :S

No opportunities in years

[Sorry if this has been covered before!]

I haven't gotten e-rewards opportunities in YEARS, literally.

What should I do??

I tried changing my email preferences, making some changes here and there on my profile... but nothing..

Should I just cancel and hope I get another invitation somehow? I received one from US Airways recently.. But I prefer not to cancel since it appears my account is not linked with any airline in particular...
